I also had this T and there was no prog running background, maybe TeamSpeak only. My lomac never had popups, so I think its lomac-made. But no idea what kind of feature is it.

Acutally, the early MiG-29 versions the HDD is only the copy of the HUD. That's why it is HDD. If it could display anything more, it would be MPD or whatever... By the way, if I refer on the fuel gauges, its not the A version. Russian technic :) Check both RPM and EGT differences

I agree with the 29 is under- or overmodelled in some flight characteristics but its not serious i think. I think that in Lomac the Flanker beat it too easily in dogifght. Yep, and I'm sure that ours won't carry 120s for QRA because of the amount of them (rumors, and pls forgive me i don't tell any about it...) but 2009 is two more years though. We'll get the AIM-9L version. Do you remember the names of the pilots? I know some of them personally and it'd be fun to have some familiar faces :pilotfly: Once I also seen a high speed low pass over field (and my head ~100m), but it didn't seem to be so fast (0.95 or such) just about 8-900 km/h. But the sound of the plane was "missing" 'til it got right above my head. Any ideas about that??

For Jurinko: "I have no idea about the unit price/maintenance and operational cost for F-16/JAS though" The Vipers cost three times more to maintain as I heared. Bimbac! If I get it correct from your profile, you maintain Gripens. I'd like to ask you some questions; which weaponry do you have for the Gripen? I guess they're in QRA already. I hope our Gripens and yours will have an excersice together soon! The Eurofighter: I don't think is is combat ready in Europe, and there is lack of pilots and training too. And weapons are under delivery. Our MiGs happened to engage them in BVR and WVR and as for surprise we had successes in both. In dogfight, MiGs owned. However the Typhoon has better t/w ratio. Experiment. It was Long Step '06 Italy. The Gripen in dogfight? Well, as our pilots said, the biggest problem is that if you pick your eyes down for just a second from them, they're get cloaked and you're busted :) Really small aircrafts and hard to keep visual with it. The more is about the pilot. In any (correct) aircrat type. About the polish Vipers: Do anyone knows the delivery date of the last one and combat readiness dates of them?

As more of us argued it, I'd also like to. I can talk about our ones, we don't miss the Shlem, nor the 73s or any combat modes. We had R-60s too, now out of service, and never had the R-27T. (or it is Top Secret:D ) No offense, but I'm interested in your source.

I thought the community would like to see THAT My wingman, Maverick fired this missile. It happened in a LAN party, and not the acmi's bug. I was right in the tail of that Falcon(AI), and saw the missile's unbelieveable behavior. Hell, makes me laugh even if I remember the moment...:lol: Any ideas about the cause??? And one more thing: in an other mission, I fired all my six missiles on a Falcon flyin' straight and level, and all spoofed...:huh:

Our pilots say that the data-link implemented in the A version of the gripens is much more effective. Its poor that we must 'switch' to the link-16-capable C version's data-link :)

Don't worry buddy, we bought it, and had to take back some of them to the North, to fix some things. All new planes have diseases. But now they're working properly. So sad we haven't got those Litenings and GBUs yet:D By the way... What sort of weapons/pods will Poland buy for the Vipers? I'm sure about the 120s, but what about the sidewinders? Which one?? And any A-G armament????

IguanaKing, that rocks :D By the way, I think we're talking about an incident that would never happen, wether the Carrier (or any unit of the fleet) detects the drone or not. Out there, in real life, are *many* other facts, that has way larger influence in making the decision about that drone. First of all, there is not a war going on against Iran. These military exercises does have military meanings, but the political and press-campaign significance is the main reason of them. Also, if the Carrier Group Commander decides that this drone csould be dangeorus, he also has to consider many other facts, like the possibility (not only on the military way) of an incoming attack. An extreme imagery: I've seen Cessnas flying almost over the military base near my home, and there were no QRA alerted or KUBs locking into them :)

About steerpoints: To increase the number of them, U have to change the navigation system. But its not "only" 3 steerpoints. As far as I know, it can be 3, 6, or 9, depends on the number of tapes you put in the plane.

Same problem here! I bought FC just after release and now have no keys left because the reg saver didn't work. I have no idea, because my config is still that old one when FC was first installed on it. Only WinXP reinstalls happened. The problem is always that SF bring up the activation window after updating the registry and launching lomac (not started before doing the reg). Anyone has an idea?
