  1. Too bad they'll have to do it one day, but who will be ready?
  2. What are those under the belly? http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/5110/f15j269.jpg
  3. Dude, I've read half the forum to lure some valuable information, but had no luck - not a surprise. But half the posts are like "oh, i guess f16/f18/f15 whatever version will be it. I'll be so sad NOT to see your faces when ED presents the next DCS:Learjet, or DCS:Spirit, or DCS:Extender, or (please God no) DCS: Preadator. It's all USAF fix winged, and hell, I see more chance for the predator than for an F-16...
  4. It's russian . . . this was out of question :) MiG-21 is not a low-rate production aircraft. Back in the 90's in my city we had thirteen UM (trainer) versions of them. None of them was identical :D Here's a funny pic - no, not before engine test: http://www.airfighters.com/photo_54900.jpg
  5. At 0:25 is that Sorbtsiya under pylon3 and opposite???
  6. Remember that jaguar (?) video from 93? This one OWNS it a hundred times. Lower than this, is ground zero, especially with 300kts - or at least not intentional :D I bet those folks were scared to death at least for a few moment, I would. Anyone seen a video lower than this? I mean intentionally, and without accident.
  7. I'm really sorry, they had it coming:music_whistling: Oh, and really sorry for the Falcon-fans if I didn't chose the 'latest' version, I'm no falcon-expert. Had a hesitation between Soufa and Bl.60 ^^
  8. Does F-16 uses the same hydraulics for bay doors opening and for main gears moving?
  9. It was a low-alt mid-air collision. A sad accident...
  10. Am i correct to see it facing towards the other end of the rwy? Maybe flipped backwards as stopped?
  11. Modded main gears on this baby, or it just my eyes need glasses?
  12. AC-119 FTW! I don't want to enter the quiz, if you don't mind, but I've got something that needs your knowledge - as I experienced it, lot of you guys are superior to many other forums, and post more actively. So here it is, what the hello is that spaceinvaders-like panel on the right side? http://mh59.mgszki-kaposvar.hu/users/_lefty/link/100_4573.jpg
  13. And if someone like to pack it in a big rack, goes for the chinOOk ^^
  14. Please someone explain the phenomenon, specifically the "flames" coming out of the engine, I've noticed it on many Hornet vids and pics, but not on any other aircrafts...
  15. Easiest way to restrict an airspace for whatever reason.
  16. Hungarian Air Force retires MiG-29. They will serve in QRA until 31st dec. Last training flight by 7th December 2010. Farewell... 1993-2010. Best pics so far
  17. Clearly, there is a cut.
  18. 382 billion $, hell of a money.... Imagine it, you could buy 6x10^23 Reapers from that money. Stop that:D
  19. Maybe useful, a slightly more extensive list: http://www.vectorsite.net/avsu27.html http://www.vectorsite.net/avsu27_2.html#m5
  20. Top Secret Photoshop VHF antennae :)
  21. Combined sensor equipped missiles first may sound logical, as there are both weak points of each of them. But in a second thought, there are much biggest problems in fusing them, than the ones they solve. First of all, is what GGTharos mentions, the size, which degrades the range - and the device also requires power. Also, it would make the unit cost much more. However, if you have a missile, like MICA, able to equipped with both type of sensors, you can whether choose which missile to launch, while also having the option to launch them simultaneously, if you see a low probability of kill with one missile. Then you have two smaller, dependently usable ordnance, with both of them having greater range than a unified seeker equipped one.
  22. And here it comes in HD Part1/4
  23. IL-28 maybe (but anyway dunno what type of engine then)
  24. Except Germany (maybe, I only dunno) and Ukraine, Russia exported the 9.12 version of the MiG-29 across the globe, until the wall cam down. Is that correct? And all those came with the capability of using R-73 (all variants) R-60 and R-27R, and had the export version N019E radar. JLZ, what the 'B' stands for in the radar variant?
  25. Should be a local bug in your mission. What is the landing site? An airfield or a FARP? If it is a FARP, then maybe try to put it a little bit elsewhere.
