  1. Yep, you see all the +/- 15 degree in the whole HUD. There are some indications (4 of them) that are changing, but I'd be happy if only the circle would not track the target. But yes, there is a tone in case of lock.
  2. OK, let's play rough on this IRST game :) Final chance to make my sim the way it should be. First of all, I will only refer to the two MiG-29 models in the game, equipped with OEPRNK-29E infrared target acquisition sensor. _______________________ "2" TP Search mode - Wide no slew Scan limits from +/-30° horizontal +/-15°vertical Search mode - Narrow (of course with half-the searching time) can be slewed same like radar, slew options +15° 0, -15° Scan limits from +/-15° horizontal +/-15°vertical BUT NO VERTICAL SLEW, it displays the whole +/-15°in vertical, along the whole display (HUD/HDD) Scan pattern speed is 30°/second horizontal If vertical scan limits of IRST is +/-15°in search mode, then FC3 IS CORRECT until this point. ______________________ "3" TP BB (blezhniy boy=close combat mode) Vertical auto acquisition mode with IRST auto scan, limits +/-2°horizontal (YES, 4°wide, unlike radar "RL BB" which is 6°), +16/-14°vertical. Scan time 1 second the whole area ______________________ "5" SLEM Target designation for IRST and R-73 missile by Helmet mounted designator manual lock +/-60° hor., +60/-15°ver. And gentlemen :) The little circle of the cueing system is a mechanically fix circle in the helmet, not a "magic marker" which sticks to the designated target. So Bug/design feature lack #xy: Russian planes helmet designator circle stays on target after lock. It should make a sound, exactly like the Fi0 mode ("6") ______________________ ______________________ BUG #xy: IRST sensor is NOT gimbal fixed in search mode. It is stupid and dunno where the horizon is. info from operation manual. If you guys make this work, I will forever stay your fan alongside with around a hundred Hungarian aviators :)
  3. But flowing in by 450-500kph IAS is wrong. And extension angle is also wrong, and even different in the two flaps. . .

  5. We got brand new .7286 update. But I wonder why don't ED make a changelog ? Every time people spend prescious time finding what's new, and it also slows down the bug-finding/killing process.
  6. I also spotted the most tester-annoying, most minor problem in the world. A little pixelation around the sun, and it is no canopy texture. For the third time I thought it is a distant aircraft,, but I've never reacehed it ^^

  8. Please correct "#69 - Mig29 Chaff and Flare loaded amount incorrect/does not correspond with ME setting" Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. This only appears if I rearm in game, via the radio (Alt + ' ) Also applies to other DCS aircrafts (su-25T for instance).

A little list from 59th, I hope none of it ppresents already, the ones I've found a match, I sorted out. - MiG-29 flaps are not extending as much as they should (only about 15-20deg. instead of 25deg.) and the two flaps are extended in different angles. (was present in FC2 too) - MiG-29 flaps are "blown in" by wind in very low (4-500kph im not sure) airspeeds, it only should around 6-800 if not retracted manually. (AFAIK You can also deploy it at 900IAS, only nothing will happen - manual restricts it to M0.95) - In Loadout screen ingame, when setting Flare/chaff amount, if I set 100% flare 0% chaff, still get the 50% amount of the available stores. (ie: same seeting with MiG-29 sets 30flares 0 chaff) - Russian planes have some indicator lights english (beta i guess) - Russian planes still have english voice-warning sys. (beta i guess) - Some instruments are not centered on proper position, like both slip indicators, and HSI also points 1-2 degree near the proper. - CBU and other cluster munitions cause massive FPS drops (MLRS too) - in MultiPlayer, you can hear only your own chute sound (which is cool btw) but not the clients ones. - Exhaust nozzle expand of clients (default only in F15 yet) is not visible (except in AB) - Out of the detailed map, terrain texture is torn apart. - More complaint about engine exterior sounds (I agree too, this high freq. sound is only heard at low rpm, above around 85 engine sounds have much more bass. More like a wish.list: - MiG-29 landing lights are only in main gear, no nose-gear lights are present. No source, no light. - Complaints about condensation appearing right from the nozzle, not a few meters behind. - Gear can be extended at any time, manual restricts it to below 700kph EDIT: About Fulcrum fuel gauge indicator, the variants NOT capable of having Both Centerline AND Wing Tanks (not in game), can not measure the centerline tank, thats for sure. For variants capable of Wing Tanks, I'd look after if they can calculate both wing AND centerline tanks! Its possible that only wing tanks can be measured.

  14. :idea:PLEASE ED I BEG OF YOU! Get a simple, small, default icon default color default everything TICKER into the Updater, so it would not want to start DCS while I have a thousand webpages opened, or running 3Dmax because that's where the fun begins. Or at least I will have a choice. Yes I know, I should not even take a breath while DCS is starting, but please, if possible, please make me a little "Run DCS after finishing update" ticker!
  15. I guess this belongs here... Let's just SUPPOSE that the next "fix winged us aircraft" coming out later on after all projects running already, will be the F-15C. New fancy 6DOF cockpit for it, FC2 already had an upgraded (new engine) Eagle variant, and basically all loading screens are F-15 related :) IF FC3 is coming out as it is, and there would be a new DCS:Eagle, in the level of detail of the DCS:Warthog, how would it affect FC3 users' Eagle? Obviously two ways to go: - If you dont buy Eagle, you stuck with vanilla cockpit and Pro guys will have harder time firing an amraam than you have (basically the same will happen to A10C/A10A in FC3) - F-15 is drawn out of FC3. My point: Is further development of F-15 in correlation with upcoming DCS series aircraft?

  17. Well, on the programmers' side, thats the easiest addition to lomac I've ever heard. Basically you just have to mark every target that gets in scope range, and tell everything about it.
