  1. Vista is the most senseless OS MS ever created. They didn´t upgrade XP to DX10 cause they couldn´t have sold a single VISTA copy
  2. I like flying all OFF. Only when reaching target area I switch AP channel modes ON.
  3. If you have running XP, you have that fps without tweaking anything :megalol:
  4. Its not the question how strong the spring is. If you click the trim 4 times in two seconds, you will not be able to center the rudder every 0,5 secs without loosing control ...especially without AP channel support :) With a non FFB stick that won´t bother you too much, but with a FFB stick it makes sense to click the trim much more frequently.
  5. Most probably !! I don´t think we are the only ones with that prob ;) Perhaps two different trim buttons for cyclic and rudder could be a solution, or a button where we can switch the rudder-trim OFF/Combined. For me a complete disabling would be ok as well, but anything has to be done :helpsmilie: PS: I hate to have the control indicator on all the time, but it´s just not possible without at the moment - especially when flying without AP, when you have to work with the rudder much more.
  6. I use the CH rudder pedals. Its hard to feel the center position with the legs. When i click several trims in a row, i easily get full rudder input through that trimming (as rudder is not exactly centered). Putting the legs from the pedals at every trim click is very annoying. I urgently need a possibility to disable the rudder trim !! As there is no real force on the rudder (almost no spring power) trimming of them is useless anyhow.
  7. Absolutely right !! Would be a huge improvement in easyness of trimming the sim. Especially with FFB stick, because its unlogical to do the cyclic trimming the real way, and the rudder trimming without FFB centering ´unreal´. My rudders do have very weak springs (or my legs are too strong :-))) so that i dont feel that center position. Please ED, give us the option to switch rudder trim Off !! THANKS PS: If you haven´t centered the rudder exactly when trimming, several quick hits on the trim button (...as you do it in the real thing as described by igormk) will bring your rudder to full deflection !!! You loose control and even dont know why fast enough.
  8. Thanks Jalava !! ...trying to get the MSFFB2 immidiately :D (...and hoping they get the bug out)
  9. I wish the option to switch rudder trim OFF, or different commands for cyclic and rudder trim.
  10. This wouldn´t happen in the real heli. The problem to simulate the trim is,that we have only PC-joysticks. They have only the centered position as zero-force position. Therefore we have to release the stick into that centered position when releasing the trim. I doubt that is the case in the real KA-50. I think if you release the trim button, the position it is will become the zero-force position. Therefore it cannot go out of control, if there was an reset trim button. (don´t know whether it really has one). Furthermore it is not possible to trim the controls (especially the rudder) to the full extend by simply pushing the trim button several times while keeping the input !! Can somebody confirm that ? (...who does know about the real one)
  11. To be honest: I thought they would charge way above 100 bucks. 50 for that sim is really nothing.
  12. Thumb UP !! I first wanted to wait for the DVD version, cause i feared the online activation. But everything worked fine. Now i am happy that i dont need to insert that DVD at startup :) I just flew the first 2 hours (around the airport), and i am so impressed with that stunning reality feeling. The combination of the 6DOF view with that flightdynamics is much better than i could imagine .
  13. Did you check the MD5 checksum ? google for MD5ChecksumVerifier.exe verify the MD5 number before installing
  14. Su25 T front wheel deflection with rudder has to be restricted. Touchdown with full rudder needs to be possible.
  15. If i give full rudder with gear down, the front wheel will be fully deflected. That is total impossible in a real aircraft, as it makes crosswind landings a luck game: either you spoil the tire or you leave the runway. Hope that will be corrected soon.
  16. I just upgraded to a Dual Core CPU (6850). The FPS almost doubled !! I had a Athlon 4000+ before. That is much more than i could expect. The WinXP Task Manager shows both CPUs with a load of 60-80 percent. Any explanations ??
