Yep, just start the app on as many iPads as you want to connect! I would suggest not using the combo MFCD display on more than one at the same time since it uses a ton of bandwidth and will put a pretty huge load on your WiFi network. You can see it in action on a very old prototype build here

Great to hear. Another update - I just submitted iControl DCS v4.0 to Apple for review. It'll have a complete graphics overhaul with native retina support for the new iPad. A portrait CDU option. Full controls for a cold startup, and more. Hopefully it gets approved and released before I leave to head to Wisconsin for Airventure and family visitation in 10 days! :pilotfly:

Yeah, that's the correct path. Can you tell me what the last line in your DCS World\Config\Export\Export.lua file is? Did you try forcing a script update?

Is it possible to determine which module is loaded in the Export script with World? (I want to perform X when BS is loaded, Y when A-10 is loaded, etc...)

At this point, I still haven't been able to get around to installing World and seeing what needs to be done to support it, but chances are good unless there's something significant that has changed which prevents it from working! I'm planning on taking a look at World once I get this next update finished and/or get back from our trip to Airventure in Oshkosh! :) :pilotfly:

iControl DCS and A-10 VC Free work without keybindings (That's why it's so awesome! :)) First, make sure your A-10 install directory has a sub folder called A10VCServer. There should be a CDU.lua and Main.lua file in there. If those files are there, try moving the dofile(".\\A10VCServer\\Main.lua") --A10VCHook line above the other one with dofile in it.

Are you using version 4.1 of the server? If so, what does the last line of your DCS A-10C\Config\Export\Export.lua file say?

Today I posted v4.1 of A-10VC Server to the website. It fixes a major error in the script installation procedure and everyone should upgrade if you're using 4.0 Progress on the retina update for the iPad client is coming along and should be submitted to Apple in the next week or two. A retina update for the new iPad resolution is coming soon. All the graphic assets are finished, just need to do some more testing on the new panels for cold starting. The CDU is a separate export like the MFCD and must be placed in a black area of a display since there's no way to draw it with a background (that I know of, if anyone else does, I'd be glad to add it!). Otherwise, all the CDU buttons function like you'd expect.

Retina update is coming along nicely. Boy it's a lot of work to update everything! :)

Its not yet supported, but keep an eye on twitter. I'll start working on World support when I finish the new update with more controls and retina graphics!

I know I keep waffling back and forth on this but right now the answer is no. I'm having a hard enough time trying to find time to work on the iOS version. However, the work I am doing for the iOS version will make porting to other platforms a little easier, so maybe once that's all finished I'll get some time to work on an Android port.

looks like the directory you have set as the sim install directory has some bad characters in it. Try setting it again in the server setting screen.

I've not tried World yet. I do intend to support it if I can. Maybe in the next few weeks I'll have some time to try it in World but obviously supporting a beta release is pretty low on my list of important things to do ;) I'll post updates as I have them!

The exported MFCD and CDU will not work with iControl DCS with the fullscreen option selected. If you notice performance problems while running in windowed mode you can try disabling aero (There's an option to have the server do this for you automatically in the settings) and see if that helps.

I have the same problem and agree that it's very frustrating. See here http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1368246&postcount=26 it seems to work for me the first time I connect to a server but then not again. At the moment, I don't have any fixes or workarounds other than restarting the server (maybe just reloading the mission will do it?) I'll look into it after I release a patch version to fix an issue with stuck keys on the MFCD OSBs (Hopefully will get that submitted to Apple in the next week or two)

The current navigation method sounded better on paper than it appears to work in practice. I'm working on something better in the future. It won't make it into the next version, but it's on the board for shortly after that!
