  1. Everything I saw about it working has only been in LOMAC threads. I don't think I've ever seen a DCS thread where it actually worked. Take a look here at a thread I started just over a year ago. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69823 I do really, really wish ED would make these functions work again because it'd make iControl so much better!
  2. It doesn't work and seems that it never will. If anyone can convince ED to fix it I'd be a super happy camper!
  3. If it helps at all, I've got Eclipse up right now and I'm working on it! :) It's going to get put on hold again when the new iPad arrives and I rework the graphic assets for the new resolution, but I'll pick it back up as soon as that's done...
  4. No significant progress to note, although I have started. Is still low on the list. But the list is getting shorter, so hopefully I'll be able to make a legitimate effort here in the next few months!
  5. Replied to your PM. We'll get it handled. Thanks!
  6. No ETA yet for a feature set update. Been very busy lately! A minor update to A-10 VC Free will probably come by the end of next month that will fix a couple issues. If it helps tide you over, here's a peek at what's coming in the new update! http://twitter.com/#!/bitshiftcom/status/163711951921356800
  7. I just don't have the time lately. Working on the next version of the iOS version is taking most of my time. I am still planning to re-evaluate when I can get my hands on a device with ICS, but based on the limited SDK exposure I've had with ICS, Google hasn't done much to make the initial hurdle required to get this on Android any easier.
  8. I have the exact problems you're describing with my X-52 Pro and have never been able to narrow it down to anything definitive. I imagine the hardware itself is bad, but I don't really want to spend hours on the phone with Saitek trying to run through a bunch of troubleshooting only to get a refurbished unit which has the same problems. My next HOTAS will not be Saitek. I've had three and they all eventually end up giving erratic signals and making it virtually impossible to fly.
  9. Here's a peak at what's coming in the next version! http://twitpic.com/8davf6
  10. Have a look at the top entry here http://bit-shift.com/a10vcserver/index.html#faq for an explanation and link back to a forum post for more help!
  11. Yeah, email would be best!
  12. When you run the file you download it will create a folder called Setup x64 with the installer in that folder. This isn't very clear, hopefully I'll have a better solution in place for the next version.
  13. Glad you like it!
  14. Search your a10 install folder for files matching *.a10original (I think, I don't have the code in front of me at the moment) and rename them at file to the original file in the corresponding directory. Feel free to contact me at the support email address if you need further help!
  15. The sim status will only be green when the sim is actually up, running, in flight, and actively communicating with the server. If the iPad is showing the MFCDs and everything is updating, you should be good to go. If things aren't actually working go ahead and email me at support@bit-shift.com and we'll get it figured out!
  16. A-10 VC Free is available for those who don't feel comfortable with the pricing of iControl DCS.
  17. iControl DCS - Available Here iControl DCS is a virtual cockpit for your iPad. It allows you to use the touchscreen to interact with the simulator, and view live video of the MFCDs and CDU directly on the iPad! iControl DCS Features Combination UFC and dual live MFCD on a single screen Fully functional live CDU Zoomed MFCD screen with slew controls - amazing for those without many-button HOTAS Uses well known iPad gestures for navigation. It is completely free. It has the combo MFCD, UFC, ILS, TACAN, Caution Warning, and a few other controls. It's a great way to give the application a try so you can see how well the MFCD export performs for you. You get all the server benefits of the paid version, screen setup, easy script install, etc. Check out the website at http://www.bit-shift.com for more information on iControl DCS, A10 Virtual Cockpit Free, and DCS Virtual Cockpit Server. Check out youtube for videos of the app in action. Video showing how to set up the server: Thanks to the community for all the support and positive feedback. It really helps keep me motivated to continue improving and adding features! Please rate on the App Store too!
  18. Is there any way to give radio or wingman commands directly via LUA script in the DCS sims? Or at the very least, navigate the menus, without sending keystroke commands?
  19. With mono and mono develop you can work in just about any environment. Never mind that Visual Studio Express is free as well. I strongly disagree. The fact that UDP does not require a constant connection, is broadcast, and is much more lightweight than TCP lends itself much better to something like this. With current networking hardware you don't really need to worry about not receiving messages.
  20. Pretty simple using the UdpClient. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.udpclient.aspx
  21. I'm guessing this is due to how ED implements the scripting and is possibly a bug on their end.
  22. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing I can do about that. Take a look at the 4th entry in the FAQ for more info http://bit-shift.com/a10vcserver/index.html#faq It's up to the server administrator as to whether or not they want to allow client side scripting to run. Unless someone can point me somewhere that says otherwise.
  23. What is not working properly for you?
  24. Just throwing this out there with no guarantees - Anyone have thoughts on a Windows Phone version?
  25. There will be an alternative method of switching in a future (probably next) version. I have an idea that I'm working on right now, actually.
