The throttle was hanging up. I checked in F2 and it was only in mil power while my physical throttle was in full burner.

Playing the instant action dogfight missions it feels like on Nevada the engines are stuck at mil power. The afterburner is going but it doesn't gain energy back like on the Caucasus map. Does anybody else feel handicapped on Nevada?

If you have a Geko Gseat you can get it working with the F14 by using the Jetseat Simshaker for Aviators Beta software update.

I haven't had a chance yet to fly. What do you mean? The stick doesn't even have the basic FC3 feedback? Is it limp? I have a G940.

I think that is a render/distance issue not a headset issue. The cloud is at the max render range and you turn your head it goes outside the range and disappears. Just my theory.

I have found this mod is breaking the textures on the AGM-65's for me.

I am missing all the AGM-65 textures. I ran a repair but no luck. How can I fix this?

This thread is entertaining, in my opinion. In one hand, some peoples passion is getting the better of them and on the other the white knights bending the knee. The Hornet was hardly ready when released but we have all enjoyed it. I hope they hold the Tomcat to the same standard and not get nitpicky.

I would back off the Anisotropic filtering to 4x. Are you sure your IPD dial on the headset is set correctly? I know I bump mine. Your cockpit should be readable with your settings. Check your background programs in task manager when you have DCS going. Set the DCS affinity to high in task manager.

What was your preorder number? Did you get a tracking email before it came?

This makes sense for a full release but why hold it back from open beta? Then we can flesh out crash bugs quicker.

Heatblur have said they are ready and the Tomcat is clearly good enough for release on Open Beta. They released the Hornet in essentially an Alpha state so in my opinion it makes no sense to hold it back from the next Open Beta update. The Mig-19 looks good and i'll probably get it on sale but delaying the F-14, that the majority of the community is dying for, is illogical.

What do you mean by in range? When I try to evade "excellent" Ai in the mountains it seems they never lose track. The F-18 instant action 4v4 mission comes to mind.

I added them to the original post. It is going to be hard to pull it off with a 970 though. It doesn't have enough vram.

In addition, when these settings were off it looked bad. In Game settings: Msaa 2x Anisotropic Filtering 4x

In Jabbers stream he was refueling at the tanker and Jester was giving drogue positions? I doubt any self respecting fighter pilot would ever listen to the RIO in this situation, unless he was half blinded for some reason. How can you concentrate with him yammering at you nonstop?

Yep, I went all out so I could run a Pimax 5k+ for the Tomcat. Gotta have that wide FOV. I wonder which one i'll get my hands on first?

Why would they not put it in the next update if it's going to the Beta build anyway?

I think the spec layer isn't working because the skin looks digital and the number section "827" is a missing texture.
