  1. Why not? Its their bad that they are not on a servers Teamspeak to benefit from the callouts and information (e.g. bandit heading's) that is shared between pilots. I can't speak for other servers but you are free to jump into to 504th servers public flights whenever you want and I'm sure at least a few members will show their face (or at least their voice) :megalol: on TS.
  2. I believe he is talking to pilgrim and protos here.
  3. The news report says that the crash happened 12 miles east of Karpathos. 12 miles is the internationally recognised limit to a nations airspace. Is there any proof that the turkish fighter broke this 12 mile border? If not it is well within its rights to be in international air space. EDIT: BBC says that Greece only claims a 10 mile limit and that the crash took place at 8,000m 21 miles from Karpathos. Well outside Greek airspace and within international airspace A dangerous game to play that has lead to the untimely death of a person (no matter their nationality). My thoughts and sympathies to the dead pilots family.
  4. Sarcasm. my dear friend. ;) I am well aware of those sims. :)
  5. Thank you GG and Alfa. I have a book called "designed for the kill" about prototypes which has a few interviews with the Sukhoi and MiG design team. I'll have to dig it out of the attic to quote it word for word but it was something along those lines.
  6. Could you expand your answer please. A simple no does not help me understand what loadout the real MiG-29 (9-13) can carry. All sources I have looked out suggest that only 2 ET/ER can be carried or 6 R-77's.
  7. It seems that some people are confused on the MiG-29S (9-13) load out. There was an "incident" on the 504th server today where 3 pilots thought that 4 R-27ET's are acceptable and quoted a link to a website as proof but we all know that there are sites out there that say the su-27 can carry the R-33 and other such nonsense. :megalol: This is what the accepted load out on the 504th server looks like. Reflecting Shepski's realism mod. Pylon 1 & 7: R-60M, R-73 or R-77 Pylon 2 & 6: R-60M, R-73 or R-77 Pylon 3 & 5: R-60M, R-73, R-77, R-27T, R-27ET, R-27R, or R-27ER Does the loadout we accept reflect real life?
  8. The Kh-29T is designed to take out installations (bunkers, bridges SAM sites etc) and ships. The only moving target that can be locked by its seeker is a ship.
  9. Yes, soon we will have "Lock On:Black Shark" :D
  10. afmbase.dll is indeed a part of lock-on. Sounds like its corrupted file or (if you have patched reciently) a bad patch download. Try a fresh install with a newly downloaded patch.
  11. You sell yourself short breadfan. Nothing can compare to the sweet tunes you sing on TS. ;) :D
  12. Happy Birthday mate. Hope no-one gives you a paintbrush down there. ;)
  13. http://www.scramble.nl/ru.htm The order of battle lists all of the military districts including the North Caucasus district.
  14. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/38610606/m/3561015334 If you are PSYOP, as I think you are, then you were already told that the SU-27S cannot carry the R-77, it does not have the autocannon feature and although we are missing the datalink feature (R:E: between fellow flankers, AWACS style) it cannot fire missiles "silently" via AWAC's guidance. Missiles can only be fired with onboard radar or EOS. Flanker 1 was a game compared to Lock-on.
  15. TouchBuddy? Never heard of it. ;) :P  (awaits Zorlac on TS) hehehe
  16. Yes, If you have a logitech G15 keyboard (like myself) then program one of the "G keys" with a macro. If not, pressing the "Ins" or "Q" key 10 times will achieve the same result. ;) :D
  17. Or..... He might have mistaken the Ka-50 for the new redesigned version of the ka-50-2 erdogan which does indeed sport a cannon mounted in a pod under the aircraft. :D Redesigned for the second round of trails for the Turkish army.
  18. No no trouble. FPS mods usually change the LOD L01 and L12 for day and night to lower the FPS. You can change this manually with wordpad or with an app called LOCFG. IIRC its hosted over at lockonfiles.com. ThomasDW also has a 1.12 compatible FPS mod but read the readme file. It loads the Su-27 and Su-33 with missiles that are not accepted on the MP servers.
  19. I would run the 1.12a patch again. If this doesn't fix it then its another re-install. :( Seems the FPS FIX is the problem for you then. Which one is this?
  20. The 1.12a patch has all the contents of the 1.11 patch in it. Don't know if there will be problems but probably not.
  21. Yes, no Gu_Lod needed. It was added into the 1.11 patch.
  22. 1, Install Original Lo-Mac 2, Install 1.1 Flaming Cliffs 3, Install Seasons Pack 4, Install Movie Pack 5, Install patch 1.12a 6, Insert Registry entry* 7, Run to confirm proper install 8, Add mods one by one to confirm that they are 1.1 compatible *Don't forget to use the registry tool to back up the registry setting so you don't waste an activation.
  23. Just to let everyone know that since I switched to these drivers I have had 4 CTD's, the screen has been flickering in game and the cloud texture bug is back. Going to go back to 84.21's
  24. Would they be able to do it though under the Ubi contract? IIRC according to stormin only one addon was allowed in the west (1.1). IMHO I think we are lucky that we will be getting 1.2 as well.
