In short, There is a limitation in the modelling of twin seaters in Lock-on (read You can’t) so no flyable Mi-28, The Ka-50 is a single seater, The weapon systems in the Ka-50 have a commonality with the Su-25T ShKval + Vikhr, the Ka-50 has been in combat in Chechnya and IIRC there is also a TV series showing in Russia at the moment staring the Ka-50 which is quite popular.

I agree. Even if they were not armed with missiles they still have a cannon and it is'nt like it was a fast manouvering fighter they were going to deal with.

Well IIRC the R-27AE and the R-37 are now limited to pulling 1g so even if you load them up they won't hit anything.

Who ever told you this is getting the ECM confused with the "Prichal" and "Klen-PS" laser designators of the Su-25K and Su-25T which automatically switch off to prevent damage by overheating (approx 1 minutes use) As was said before, The ECM runs continuously until damaged (or switched off). I would suggest you use ECM sparingly, especially on Multiplayer when fighters are about. It throws up a big “I am here sign” to them and you might be killed by a friendly or by a HOJ shot.

Was this your intention or the fact that the ET is your greatest bane, with it killing you 53 times so far on the 504th server. You post this like you fly all of the fighters with equal amounts in each and because of this you can be objective where as people that only fly russian aircraft cannot. Looking at the 504th stats shows me, that based on kills you spend 83% of your time in the F-15 with the Su-27 coming second with 9% (su-33 4%, MiG-29S 3 %). Heck even I have flown in the F-15 the same amount of time that you have flown in the MiG-29. Can I too state that I have flown all planes. ;) A look at the 169th server show around the same results (80% for the F-15, 11% for the Su-27, 7% for the Su-33 and 2% for the MiG-29S) Ummm, wasn't this what russian pilots were complaining about to the eagle pilots when the fad of Spamraaming all 8 and running home started. So is this a case of the ET in lockon having a problem or Eagle pilots like pilotasso getting burned because they don't detect the missle (IMHO exactly what heaters and EOS is for)

So in laymans terms, the ET *IS* locked on to the target as soon as it's within the R-max and the actual fact that it is sucessful at downing targets is because they are not a manouvering target? and "NP" is when you are at optimal range and not R-max?

Have you got the CD in the drive? SF asks for validation only once a week IF the CD is not in the drive. When it is in the drive it asks for validation every time you start FC.

IIRC there is only one mission that there is F-15's on both sides where as the Mig-29S is in all but one mission (the MiG-29A for both sides mission).

It was a proposed upgrade to the Su-33 that was to be given the capability to carry the R-77. This upgrade (Su-33M) was not funded and was not carried out. Many web sites quote this upgrade as fact but it was not to be. The Su-33 is just a navalised Su-27S.

The P version doesn't have A2G capability, the Su-27 in Lock-on does.

I have had to delete the TIR4 file twice as well but Starforce has never asked to be reactivated. Perhaps something else was wrong (i.e Starforce hates the X-45 Aux buttons when they are left on)
