Not understandable permanently Starforce Problems
504 Wolverine replied to a topic in Bugs and Problems
Things like a Saitek X-45 with Aux-1 button activated can make Starforce want to be re-activated so if Starfore wants to be reactivated and you know that there has been no hardware changes the look for the cause of it because there is something wrong like the x-45 aux button. Changing your Mobo bios reports that you have a new Mobo installed. This is why starforce would want to be reactivated. This happened to me as well so I reactivated it. No problems. But since I have 12 activations left I didn't see this as a problem. Also if you have had valid reasons for running out of activations then e-mail ED with your details and they will give you a new activation code. Ruggbutt recently did this and recieved more. -
But aren't you still running 1.02? If so. Did anyone with 1.11 extensively test this mod of yours? Just because it works for 1.02 doesn't automatically mean that it works on 1.11. Things like dxrenderer are not compatable between both and starforce will get in the way of some files from 1.02 working. More power to you if it does work. :D

I have to agree with wolfie here as well guys. Even if Kamov win the contract, (which is unlikely) their proposal is more kin to the Ka-52 than the Ka-50.
-
Yeah, just saw those myself. Chech out the detail on those rockets as well. SWEEET. :D Is it my imagination or have they changed the Black Shark description page as well? Oh and a quick question popped into my head as I was reading it. Is it only the Ka-50 that will have the NVG, or will other aircraft also have them?

FA: Book: A-10s Over Kosovo...
504 Wolverine replied to Arizona's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Yes please do. I left my ESP in my other suit. :p As everywhere else mate. :( And you should not either, that is not what I was getting at. What I am trying to say is that something that does not affect your life can greatly affect someone else’s life. That's why we should show a bit more understanding to Veljiko as he should towards other people. Then whys there an arm sticking out from below you porch :p And so you should. I am not questioning this And neither you should. Now group hug and get back on topic now mister!! :p -

Bit hipocritical there rugg. On one hand you tell Veljko to STFU yet on Stormin you say Well as you sat on your sofa drinking soda with you g/f Veljiko's country and probably his town was being bombed by your countries air force for trying to stop the KLA's campaign of terror. Granted a lot of innocent muslims were slaughtered there by the likes of milosivich but there were a lot of innocent serbs slaughtered by the KLA and with the current US stance on musilm terrorists do you really think that NATO would have sided with the KLA after 9/11? Telling Veljko to STFU on this would be like someone saying to a family member of a victim of 9/11 to "STFU we've heard enough, we are sick of hearing it. MOVE ON". You have to recgonise that there is victims on both sides in conflicts like this. So in response I would say "That's just par for the course w/Veljko'. Most of us just ignore him when he gets like that" There are victims on both sides with raw nerves on certain subject so its best if EVERYONE stopped and thought of other peoples experiences and feelings before they post. -
Must be some bizzare warping if it makes him and your missiles disappear. ;) :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: You sure it wasn't because you were connecting to England from Oz

Black Shark, english cockpit?
504 Wolverine replied to zaGURUinzaSKY's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Well I suggest that “if” ED is going to release English cockpits that they do it as an extra downloadable option like the season packs or the US Su-25T skins so that purists like me don't need to sully our PC's with those dastardly things. ;) That way everyone is happy. BTW http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=7863 I would hate to get off on the wrong foot with you badaboom or sound like a whinner but I have to agree, your sig is doing my scroll wheel an injury. -

No what you need to do is find a woman that encourages your hobby r.e. going to airshows with you and buying little gifts like Lock-on, TIR, X-52 etc. :D They are hard to find but they are out there. -
Its a Lock-On thing. Even when you land and exit to sort your loadout it registers it as a death.

504 Wolverine replied to ARM505's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Cambridge, England. BTW ARM are you aware of the MP tweek as shown here. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=13280 Apologies if you have already. -
Anything under 500 is ok Harven. One of our pilots (BigTonka) lives down under and he is about 450 with no effect on server performance. :) I have been bogged under with training duties but as soon as the work eases off I'll like to put more hours in on the server, but its nice to see that my A2A ratio is ok for a 25 driver. :p lol Great work Zorlac. You da bomb. :D

Dedicated Server List (moderated)
504 Wolverine replied to diveplane's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
A little reminder. Could everyone that connects to our server please ensure that their connection speed is set to 128/128 to prevent warp. -
I think that anything under 500 is ok'ish. Tonka lives down under and when connected to our squad server (35Mb up/down IIRC) and my own server for Frog training (10MB Down/512Kb up) his ping is usually in the 450's and no warping is ever experienced. Anyone who ever has 1000> ping should disconnect and check what speed they are set at in the connections menu. Many people patch to 1.11 and forget that their speed defaults back to 33k. Either that or update from their yoghurt pot/string connection ::p;) .

Who runs the LOMAC "Battlefield" server?
504 Wolverine replied to 3Sqn_Sven's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I take it you have 1.02 then? In 1.1 you have full control of the aircraft. -
While 512mb is the listed recommended it is advisable to use 1 Gig of RAM if not 2 Gig. Also to stop the MP drop out go to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config\network\config.LUA and open with wordpad. change to the following. gameTimeout = 600; pingPeriod = 1; maxPacketSize = 500; playerName = ""; idleTimeout = 600;

OT: F-22A Raptor goes operational
504 Wolverine replied to BladeLWS's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
The computer might have kept it out of a stall and stopped the loss of the aircraft *IF* the crash was in anyway aerodynamically related but no computer would help in incidents where the pilot pulls out of a loop too late and scrapes the tailpipes across the runway. ;) -
OT: F-22A Raptor goes operational
504 Wolverine replied to BladeLWS's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
IIRC there was only 1 Su-37, this was converted from a Su-35, It was then converted BACK to a Su-35 before it crashed. So..... there has never been a Su-37 crash. :p
