  1. Maybe you'll find a solution here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=145140 Check your trackIR hotkeys ;)
  2. Or maybe they doubled every shot? You know, reliability..
  3. Yep, the fun and the challenge overweights the drawbacks of being the underdog ;) I played again on 104th, using much less radar and I survived a lot longer, even got some close opportunities, no kill though. Only shot down once, did a nice engine out landing (no fuel), so it was a good day.

    SAM Attack?

lol, can I complain that the Mirage 2000 has a hook but won't operate from an aircraft carrier? What about vertical takeoff? It has a huge engine! Please implement vertical takeoff! Mirage III V could do it after all. I know people are desperate for another SEAD aircraft but not every new module is automatically one, this is getting embarrassing...
  5. I agree on that ;) be patient, it's coming Soon Anyway I think found one probable cause of my beating last time I flew: too much radar :music_whistling:those guys were seeing me coming from far away with their RWR.
  6. First in one video we saw an icon for the F-5 module on Wags' DCS main screen. A post was opened and speculation started. In one other video afterwards (L-39 I think) while taxiing there was an F-5 parked and Wags said "I wonder what this F-5 is doing here". Add more speculation. Then in the latest "first look" video (Mirage 2000-C), again, taxi, F-5's -> even more speculation.
  7. If the real aircraft has lots automated systems, it makes sense to use them. Simplified does not mean unrealistic! Here is the egine startup sequence from the only manual I have for the m2000 (the link is somewhere in this forum), it's quite short actually: Anyway, great video!
  8. That moving line on the radar is kind of disturbing, it's moving with the horizon but at only half the value. I never flew the F-15C, I know it has a similar line on the radar display but I don't know if it's behaving the same, anyone can confirm?
  9. Hello, a little message to warn against the use of LED_INTENSITY. I already knew that LED intensity could make problems at any setting except full intensity and zero intensity (I experienced it already). I switched to windows 10 and I started to have deconnections of the throttle, requiring me to stop TARGET, unplug, replug the throttle and restart TARGET (super funny when this happens during online flight), I had it once per flight on average, sometime twice. I first thought it was the USB problem so I made the modifications for the power but the problem was still here on USB 2.0 or 3.0. It *seems* that removing completely the LED intensity setting in my script have cured the problem (it didn't come back yet, after 3-4 flights), I had this line that I commented out: // ActKey(KEYON+PULSE+LED(&Throttle, LED_INTENSITY, 0));So, if you have problem of throttle disconnecting, try this ;)
  10. Yes I remember seeing your name too, Cheers ;) Since I've got the tracks I'll replay them later to get the ACMI and see what happened exactly during those flights. My biggest problem so far is that it seems that I never get to radar range before I got shot, I want to understand why I'm so blind. I feel clubbed like a baby seal lol.
  11. What do you do when approaching flanking/low doesn't work? I managed to get a kill long ago on 104th but now I seems to have become super hard to achieve this (did people got used to defend against MiG-21s?). Lately I've never been able to approach anyone, even when flying NOE I got locked and shot with AIM-120C or R-27R even before being able to get a radar contact, I feel like hitting a wall. On the previous few days I connected several times on 104th (as "Pedro") tried approaching high then dive/beam on possible contacts, approach head-on, flanking or even blatantly turning around but no luck, got a radar contact only once (I had a visual once, someone was kind enough to go on the deck to finish me after I evaded some missiles lol). Radio didn't help much either. Anyone has any suggestions? Maybe I was just lucky the first time, when thinking about it. Thanks
  12. Hi Zeus, I'm with you! The C is an interceptor and everything else is bonus, so, no problem if ARMAT is not technically possible with this bird. I bought this module for the airframe, not for the missile ;) Since the SU-25T is the only SEAD capable aircraft right, every new module that could maybe possibly carry an anti radiation missile is heavily scrutinized...
  13. Yes, like an ROE setting - or a weapon safety level. Police means no use of deadly force unless absolutely necessary.
  14. Worst thing is I KNEW it - but I fly onPvP very rarely and I forget the basics - and I was also simply enjoying fliying the -21 :music_whistling: Next time I'll remember that I need to switch my brain into terrain-hugging, ambushing bast*rd mode :D At least I gave someone some easy kills.
  15. There you go, 34", 2560X1080. I think the FOV is 140 on this screenshot.
  16. Haha very nice  Actually I tried my luck yesterday night, flew several sorties and every single time the same scenario, RWR is clean, suddenly I got locked - I go evasive - and *bam*, AIM-120C Well, except once where I took an R-27ER instead. After seeing that video I realize I was coming in too high, making an laughably easy target
  17. Ugliness-wise it's on par with the YA-9, that's what I meant. I don't find it pretty or ugly, just average. Well, you can be ugly and happy at the same time
  18. You're almost right ;) The versions we have in DCS are different for both Mirage and MiG-21, Israelis used Mirage III against MiG-21 PF. The Mirage 2000 is a completely different beast and much more advanced than the MiG-21BIS
  19. You can check this video: I know it's not DCS but it will give you an idea of the symbology and procedure. It's kind of off-topic, sorry OP :music_whistling:
  20. I assume you mean 20 nm (not kts), that's 37 km, quite close to 40 km, it's not that bad actually
  21. I think you *can* get a good CCRP solution by pointing your nose and designate. This is possible if the computer can use ranging data from the radar OR elevation data from a ground database (and calculating the point on the ground intersecting the piper LOS). So if one of those two is supported then it's possible.
  22. This wasn't specifically for you. And you answered your question yourself, the answer is in the manual. If it's not, then experiment. I personaly use the sink rate as indicator ;)
  23. Most importantly you need to keep throttle (LND position) until touchdown, otherwise the blown flaps are not operating and you loose a lot of lift. Approach speed 340 or above work well for me, with a shallow touchdown angle (only a few m/s vert. speed). Edit: to answer post above, how much %: don't know, throttle in LND position at minimum. How do you know its working: you're not sinking like a brick ;] edit2: a good way to experiment it is to set yourself in level flight, not too low, will full flaps and gears. then decrease power until you drop drastically. This is when the BLC stopped working
  24. Haha this one never made it to horizontal flight :D It looks badass though
  25. You forgot the A-10 :p
