It doesn't work for me the old AIM-9 model still appears btw I unpacked the .rar and packed it into a .zip so that Loman can see it, is it the reason for this problem? the thing is I had the previous version of the Weap Pack installed and everything was working fine. plz help

A strange graphic bug has appeared today while I was playing, here take a look at some screenshots: It appears on every airfield, the source is the rotating radar, the big black planes rotate with it. Anyone has an idea how to fix this? btw, I recently installed new models - the weapon pack from lockonfiles.com (r-77), the new fuel tanks for Mig-29 & F-15, and the US weap pack - new models of AIM-120 & AIM-7. My Rig: Nvidia N6800 AGP8X 512mb 3Ghz Pentium 1024mb RAM DDR 400 Flamming Cliffs 1.12a Russian Version I've been playing with this system for more than a month now without any problem.

Su-27s are gradually getting uprgraded to SM variant, and those surely have the ability to engage multiple targets at once. Just my 2 cents.

I've decided to practice some 2v2 engagements and develop a technique of my own. The point of it is for you to go ahead and draw enemy fire on you, and attack a single target - then evading the AIM-120 fired at you while maintaining a lock for your R-27ER, giving your wingman a nice occasion to flank them both while they are busy with you. It doesnt always work but its the best I came up with. Here check out the tracks I made: one against 2 F-15s and the other against 2 F-16s. Hey all, I'm having trouble accomplishing missions with Russian birds especially when confronted to F-15s & F-16s. R-27ER seem kinda useless since I get beamed most of the time even w/ AI @ Average... or The lock is broke due to evasive maneuvers. I can take on a single F-15/F-16 without any problem but when there are more, they overwhelm me and Im not even talking about the jammers that are continuously on. As an example: Su-27 mission Tanker Attack, any tips on how to complete this one? TIA

Hi all, I just got myself a new graphics card, I finally replaced my super old GForce4 MX440 for a brand new N6800 512mb DDR2 AGP8X :clap: and upgraded my memory to 1024MB RAM DDR400 PC3200. Now I gotta say, this game is such an eye candy, the effects are BEAUTIFUL, the sunset is just WOW and the Water! neway u get the point. On average I get 15fps in the cockpit view with shkval on, but I feel it is kinda low so I would like to know what is the best config to use in order to get a good balance between graphics and fps. Oh btw, my processor is a 3ghz pentium 4. TIA for your help.

Я вам расскажу про уникальный момент в ЛО. Играл я сегодня с Су-33, Миссию Quickstart от Ф-15, заменил просто наши самолётики на амерские, Миг-25 заменил на Ф-5Е с 4 AIM-9. Ну и вот, пока сбил пару птичек, Ф-5 приблизился сзади на мои 4 часа гдето на 10КМ, и он выше меня на гдето 1500м. Я переворачиваю самолёт на него и пускаю Р-27ЕТ, секунду спустя он пускает свой AIM-9. (Ярлыки включены так что мне всё видно) 3 секунды спустя, представьте себе, вижу взрыв, обе ракеты исчезли, а Ф-5 всё летит. Я этому не поверил, ракеты врезались друг в друга! Потом проверил в debriefing, а там написано, типо, что обе ракеты промахнулись, значит взрыв не тронул Ф-5. У вас бывало такое?

Hey, I'd really like to fly a Mig-29K, is your mod released? even with the hook problem. If not, is there any other good mod for a flyable Mig-29K that will be compatible with other mods already installed? I have the realistic weapons mod for A10/Su33/Mig29 installed and I'd like to keep it. TIA

Su-37 is not a 5th generation fighter, It wont even be in service so it's not revelant to compare it to the F/A-22

thx 4 the info Iron and I second your sayings, Hornet you really did bring good memories and touched the community. :) I just want to share a memory about Flanker 1.0: I used to play with the demo before miraculously finding the game in a store, and I remember that it was almost impossible for me to land, I tried for many months, it was my first sim ever so I had to learn all the mechanics of flying jets, and one day, I did it, it was April 4th 1999, I was 11 years old at the time. I was happy for weeks after this :p

Wow, it gives me so many flashbacks, I used to play this game when I was 10 or 11, it was my first sim, it was sooooo awesome. this game is gold, I still have it. I played it until I got flanker 2

I installed it with LOman but the sound doesnt play... whats wrong? but anyway awesome tutorial, now evading AIM-120s is a joke ^_^
