ok. I dont know that it was here, sorry guys. But one think, I send this article to my friends from my job, they are working on radars and are specialist on radars and systems used by Air Traffic Services and in military. They said that it isnt myth at all, because it can work but they are not sure, how to ionize to achieve that stealth effect. They also said that it can be also reversal effect and you will see airplane better on radar screen :smilewink: . But it is only logical calculation of them. Thats all. I dont want to make some fire here. So this is only my annotation.

Last week here in Bratislava people saw crash during airshow.It looks bad on photos but thanks to God nobody is dead. Pilots are alive but they are now in hospital. I never saw F-18 doing cobra. Thats all I am talking about. This is original artcile about F-18 and Su-27 in China sea from book Best of the best. I will transalte it. "Súčka si neskor zalietali spolu s Austrálskymi F-18 v Juhočínskom mori pričom pri predvádzaní manévrov museli súčka zapnúť forsáž iba na jednom motore aby F-18 za nimi vôbec stačila. Nato začali manévrový boj s F-18. Akceleráciou a manévrovateľnosťou úplne vypudili Hornety z oblohy. Viktor Pugačev ukázal za ním letiacemu Foxovi čo znamená kobra v manévrovom vzdušnom boji. Z rýchlosti 370 km/h zbrzdil na 120 km/h a "zakobril". Fox lišiacky zahol vľavo, než sa stačil ale spamätať, už mal Pugačeva za sebou. Ten po istom zostrele nasadil plnú forsáž a premenil sa na malú bodku na obzore." "Su flyed next time with (Australian) F-18 in South China sea. Yes it is only tech. demonstrator but it have bay doors. This plane will be used for next step to new generation fighters. Negative wings are great to make low speed maneuvres and to avoid stall.

As you said US TEST! aircraft were able to do cobra, but I dont remmember any of those aircraft without special construction on engines or behind engines. Su fammilly are able to do it without any special arrangements. The frame of the plane is really unique. F-18 is really excelent plane but AoA is not regime of the "one" moment. It is different when you are able to make 35 AoA degrees turn in few secs, and when you able to stay in this AoA long time without loose of speed or controll. And this is important for pilots.

I dont have HOTAS, dont have TIR and still fly :D But I know that experience with TIR and HOTAS could be amazing.
