I have been getting press S after long loading times when playing online on HL. I have reinstalled 1.12a to ensure I am up to date. I have also changed the server config file to values equalling 600 for both. I did notice that pingperiod = 1 was missing from the file... Is this a change in 1.12 or 1.12a and could this be causing me to get the press S message? To note: I was playing on-line the morning before this happened, and I have been unable to play since that time due to I keep getting the press S message. I first encountered the problem while on s77th server. I troubleshot as much as I could. Ironhand, Goya and Konkussion maybe you can also input on what we tried that day to get it to work.

Interesting pic.... I wonder if it is a fake? We used to tell people at airshows that the refueling probe was a giant laser :megalol:

I fired a R-27ET yesteday on a single player mission, it was a visual range shot and there was no smoke trail. Do ask me why I was firing an ET within visual range :music_whistling:

Hey guys I finally found a picture proving that the AH-1W carries the AIM-9. That is awesome!!! I notcied the improved a-10c cockpit screen on the website... only wishing I could see it in full resoultion/ full screen! I have to ask the question however, is this our B.S. update for the week?? I'm not whinning... just asking! I see... as you were. I mistook a maxed out warn meter as an indication that he was banned again. I guess someone at ED really likes him.

This would require fly by wire controls... ie. there is no mechanical linkage between stick and the surface it controls. Or if it is not completely wire controled there is a telescoping linkage between stick and ACS servos that allow for trimming without movement of the stick. (I used to work on flight controls) How do you know about the F-18... firsthand knowledge or reading?

Microsoft Sidewinder sticks are no longer sold... and I am always a little apprehensive about buying computer gear used. Does anyone know anything about the Logitech Force 3D Pro???

I wasnt talking about that stick either konkussion :D Ya, I meant the physical joystick moves when you input trim. I know that if the top of the line HOTAS doesnt do it and it cost 200+ dollars, I imagine a stick that moved would cost significantly more than that. Rich is right, trim is extremely important and it keeps you from muscle fu**in the flightstick.
