  1. I also wonder, if they are working on a stick for the Ka50 to go with the cyclic grip...
  2. Thanks! It was uncelear to me what the switch did. I got the impression, that you use the DGFT Switch in closer combat situations combined with ACM radar mode, even though you get AMRAAMs selected. I then don't really understand the use of the Missile Overide feature, since it would be the same, as if the pilot is pushing the AA button? But then - I am no real combat pilot either. ;-)
  3. DOGFIGHT/Missile Override Switch (special) - DOGFIGHT/CENTER and DOGFIGHT/Missile Override Switch (special) - MISSILE OVERRIDE/CENTER since I have the Thrustmaster COUGAR Throttle. Just tested it: If I put the switch to DOGFIGHT - Gunsight appears - Radar gets put into ACM Mode - TMS on the Stick works as intended (target acquisition modes) If I put the switch to MISSILE OVERRIDE - Missile Mode is selected (Circle in HUD) - Radar does not switch to ACM Mode - TMS on the Stick does not change target acquisition modes. If I center the switch the previos mode is restored. It behaves the same if JHMS is on or off.
  4. Hmmm... interesting. I have set the buttons via the HOTAS Section. Nothing fancy. Just to clarify: 1. Master Arm on 2. AA Mode 3. JHMS on and showing 4. Dogfight Switch (back or fwd) Now I cannot change radar acquisition modes (TMS up, right, down). I now have to set radar to ACM manually via the left MFD. Once done, TMS works as intended. I will repair my installation and will check once more. Once with, once without JHMS. Anyone else having issues?
  5. It is bound correctly. It works partly. It selects missiles, respectively guns. But the radar should be put into ACM mode, which is not. After switching to guns/missiles I had to change radar modes via the left MFD. I checked this repeatedly with JHMS on.
  6. Hi, I am using the COUGAR Throttle with the Dogfight Switch. Now when I use the Dogfight Switch to any direction (forward or aft) I have to manually put the radar into ACM mode via the left MFD. Shouldn't the radar be put into ACM mode when accessing the Dogfight Switch?
  7. I don't have this folder... I only have DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F14\Sounds\Walkman Do I need to create the walkman folder in CoreMods?
  8. Thanks! I appreciate the answer!
  9. Any status update on this? Would really be great if Jester could do some ground target lock and lasing. Maybe with the option to switch to "next target" or "previous target" or something like that. Or even selecting the highest value target by himself.
  10. Any chance on updating the first page with the newer aircraft?
  11. It's a request that's already done for the F/A-18C. Same problem with the F-16C. I fly VR and Cougar Throttle and there's just no button for OFF/IDE Position on the Throttle/Stick. Would be awesome :-)
  12. I also created a report about a false positive file.
  13. Yes you can. Just move the whole folder to another drive and/or subfolder and update your shortcuts. Works perfectly.
  14. I would also support this. Would be nice to be able to fly this with a friend or 3. If possible, even make it for more aircraft available. Like COOP Flight 1: 4x F15C (CAP) COOP Flight 2: 2-4 F/A18C (SEAD, ...) COOP Flight 3: 2-4 A-10C (CAS) It should be optional though, that if noone joins the other positions, they should be used by AI wingmen.
  15. Well - the title says it all... ;-) Will there be a Red Flag Campaign for the F-18C as well? Would be really great, since I enjoyed the other two very much!
  16. Improvements can be made on the way. I think some more things come into attention like tankers and maybe timing "errors" that can easily be fixed. In my opinion not everything must be made from scratch, but some adjustments for the right aircraft can easily be made.
  17. Any plans on expanding the ACM Campaign to other aircraft as well?
  18. Will you change that for the other BFM Campaign also? F-15C and F-5E don't have unlimited guns as of yet.
  19. Oh dear! Noone needs to feel sorry for myself. It was just an idea that came to my mind while playing the campaign with the F-5E. I guess what and what not any developers do or don't do should be something for them to consider and merely something from my personal opinion what could be a helpful and easy addition to the campaign.
  20. TacView and YouTube plus a BFM Campaign can teach you BFM and Close Combat Skills. On most modern multiplayer servers BFM is not really a thing. It’s more BVR (Beyond Visual Range) fighting that will occur. If you are a fan of TopGun and want to fly like this, it’s something you can do with this campaign. But like others said: This is no flight school. You will have to learn fighting for yourself.
  21. How about maybe add an F10 Menu Option to request smoke on India?
  22. I understand that Fighter Pilots next to never drop their fuel tanks. But in the BFM Campaigns AI pilots always drop their tanks. So the idea is not to drop tanks on AI side. Especially the F5E runs out of fuel quickly and it hurts to drop tanks with fuel left.
  23. OK - this sounds somewhat doable. The thought is, though, to quickly access the recycle point and quickly return into the 2nd fight. It would not sound or look totally unrealistic and I wouldn't recommend this for the F-15C or the F-18C Campaigns, since they have a waypoint navigation and HUD/moving map. Good, that this does not count for cars as well! On the other hand, if now half the drivers on EARTH were not to drive a car, maybe some of our pollution problems would be solved. It's a game - it's for fun, you know? :-P
  24. Ok... Navigation with the F-5E is somewhat painful. And still after I understood, how to do it, it hurts when flying. I understand and know that in time and with flight hours on the NTTR map, you will eventually know all the landmarks. But in the beginning, it is hard. So - here's my idea: Why not put a smoke signal on waypoint INDIA! You still would have to know your way around on the NTTR map, since everything else should stay as it is, but a smoke signal on INDIA would let you find your entrance point to the next fight and you could easier reset. In my opionion it would be a great help to people who have not grown up in Nevada and it would not brake immersion too bad, since one could really think about this happening for orientation pusposes. Maybe it's something worth considering for an update on the Campaign. For the F-15 BFM Campaign and the F-18 BFM Campaign I don't recommend this, since you have a waypoint navigation and don't need it (still it would not hurt).
