That did the trick! (From VIRPIL Support) For that do the following: Run VPC Configuration tool --> go to BUTTON tab --> drop down TOGGLES Decoding --> type in button 3 with mode OFF and button 2 with mode OFF --> press SAVE VPC DEVICE. Now a new virtual button is created. To check what's that button number just press the switch UP or DOWN and look what button gets deactivated in the Physical button state box. -

Well. Tha ks for the answer. I figured out this much. Let me explain. On my collective controller (Virpil's Ka50) there are a bunch of 3-way-switches, that default to the middle position. So you gotta hold up or down to keep the switch in place. Unfortunately the middle position got no button press, only up and down are actual button presses. So I was looking for a binding: Retract <> else Stop Extend <> else Stop There are a bunch of these functions on other planes under the section Special Joystick or something like that. -
Hi there, on my collective I got a 3-way switch, that returns/defaults to the middle position. I believe this would be just the function of the original Landing Light Switch in the Huey. Now I am looking for some help/code where I can bind the RETRIEVE and the EXTEND to a button press and an ELSE OFF logic. Something like that is done in the A10C with the Warthog throttle. It got a 3 way switch for the flaps having a button press up and down but none in the middle. Anyone coder here that can tell me what code I must insert where to get this functionality? Would greatly appreciate it!

Hi there, on my collective I would like to bind a key/switch to Landing Light ON and another key/switch to Landing Light OFF. Just like it is in the Huey Collective. I know that a bunch of people have modeled this for various other aircrafts, but I couldn't find any solution for the Huey. Can anyone help or tell me what code I have to insert? Would greatly appreciate that.

I do have the same problem somewhat. Button press works fine until some undefined time in the mission, when the HMD does not show up. It seems random and it seems not all of the time. Anyone k now if that's a bug or a feature? Maybe I am using the button wrong? -
I just checked his profile and last time Hollywood was online in these forums was April 15th, 2022. Last post was January 20th. Thing is, he used to write quite regularly in his threads and hasn't done this whole year. I fear the worst...

This is something that should be optional for all models. So that the switchcover automatically opens, when the switch is used. -
Just a few bugs I encountered when playing the mission: Image in mission briefing shows 2 times waypoint 7 coordinates and height while one text should be the coordinates and height at waypoint 8. Tankers TACAN frequencies are not shown in the briefing. Waypoint 7 and waypoint 8 are 30000ft, although they are marking ground targets and should have the height of the ground units. Two thoughts about the mission design: Flares are still at 30 and 60 chaff, when loadout can be 60 flares and 60 chaff. When touching the mission once again, maybe update to the new weather system. Maybe make radio chatter optional, it is kind of disturbing when listening to AWACS and/or tower / flight.

Hi there, this problem is driving me insane. I have tried various hours now with and without MIST, but I cannot get it done. Hopefully someone can please help me... I want to "simply" despawn and respawn an AI-group. Regardless of it's status. It could be damaged, killed or perfectly healthy. With either a trigger zone or a F10 menu item I just want to first despawn, then respawn the said group. Example/Actual Task: I have set up an SA-6 Site and called the group of 11 vehicles "SAM SA-6 Group 1". Now if I want to practice (multiplayer with a friend) SEAD operations with HARM, I would be able to just respawn this group, after the search radar is destroyed. All other vehicles could very well be perfectly healthy, but I would like to reset that one group to fully operational with all units. Maybe someone can help, I would very much appreciate that. Thanks!

Thanks! It was uncelear to me what the switch did. I got the impression, that you use the DGFT Switch in closer combat situations combined with ACM radar mode, even though you get AMRAAMs selected. I then don't really understand the use of the Missile Overide feature, since it would be the same, as if the pilot is pushing the AA button? But then - I am no real combat pilot either. ;-) -

DOGFIGHT/Missile Override Switch (special) - DOGFIGHT/CENTER and DOGFIGHT/Missile Override Switch (special) - MISSILE OVERRIDE/CENTER since I have the Thrustmaster COUGAR Throttle. Just tested it: If I put the switch to DOGFIGHT - Gunsight appears - Radar gets put into ACM Mode - TMS on the Stick works as intended (target acquisition modes) If I put the switch to MISSILE OVERRIDE - Missile Mode is selected (Circle in HUD) - Radar does not switch to ACM Mode - TMS on the Stick does not change target acquisition modes. If I center the switch the previos mode is restored. It behaves the same if JHMS is on or off. -

Hmmm... interesting. I have set the buttons via the HOTAS Section. Nothing fancy. Just to clarify: 1. Master Arm on 2. AA Mode 3. JHMS on and showing 4. Dogfight Switch (back or fwd) Now I cannot change radar acquisition modes (TMS up, right, down). I now have to set radar to ACM manually via the left MFD. Once done, TMS works as intended. I will repair my installation and will check once more. Once with, once without JHMS. Anyone else having issues? -

It is bound correctly. It works partly. It selects missiles, respectively guns. But the radar should be put into ACM mode, which is not. After switching to guns/missiles I had to change radar modes via the left MFD. I checked this repeatedly with JHMS on. -

Hi, I am using the COUGAR Throttle with the Dogfight Switch. Now when I use the Dogfight Switch to any direction (forward or aft) I have to manually put the radar into ACM mode via the left MFD. Shouldn't the radar be put into ACM mode when accessing the Dogfight Switch? -
I don't have this folder... I only have DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F14\Sounds\Walkman Do I need to create the walkman folder in CoreMods?

Any status update on this? Would really be great if Jester could do some ground target lock and lasing. Maybe with the option to switch to "next target" or "previous target" or something like that. Or even selecting the highest value target by himself.
