  1. So this means the warning flags will go away when I am ni NOC mode in glidepath for landing? I'm still not sure why the HSI is out of sync with the hud. For example, it will say "required heading" is 150 degrees but the next waypoint indicated by the director circle is let's say 30 degrees.....
  2. Yes, but the red warning flags remain and the HSI is out of sync with the hud.
  3. Cool. Thanks Nate!
  4. I'm not clear if the shark is also addressed. The shark vikr hit rate has certainly gone down as others have said.. Sorry if it was answered and I missed it...it is a loooong thread.
  5. The laser is automatically activated when in range and target is within launch parameters. In the old days the laser had to be manually activated...
  6. Thanks Corrigan. At least I know I'm not the only one now. Regards
  7. I posted this in another old thread but getting no response. I never paid attention to this as I depend on the hud but how do you calibrate the HSI such that the red warning flags are gone? In the other post, it said you have to wait for spin up (guessing gyro) but I sit there on the runway forever and the red flags don't go away. Also, the HSI seems to be completely out of sync with the director circle. Thanks.
  8. Using Nvidia GTX 580. Nothing overclocked. Once in a while I get this from the clouds. Anyone else?
  9. I know I'm resurrecting an old thread here but how do you actually correct them? I am so used to the HUD I didn't really pay attention to these but I'd like to know how to calibrate these guages so they are useful. Can't locate key control to turn them on and waiting on the runway before takeoff doesn't seem to correct these deviations in readings. Thanks!
  10. Give it a chance! It's one of the most satisfying planes to master. Something about it's AFM just feels right and much more convincing for me than A-10C. I do like A-10C a lot too though!
  11. From what I can tell, the issue only happens looking from bottom up and doesn't happen looking from top down.
  12. I observe the same issue.
  13. yes that would be awesome. This way, I can map a rotary wheel on my controls for mixture. I do this with ROF and it works great.
  14. Just tried the pit out. NICE! Finally, I have HD cockpit with authentic labels! Great work by Ricardo and thanks to OP!
  15. Makes sense Peter. Cheers!
  16. Thank you Peter. You can just call me Fish. :) After reading some responses here, transitioning to level AP then disengaging AP is what I'm doing and it works pretty well. The only thing is that I'm trying to get the 3 trim tab lights to go green before disengaging AP but the very top one doesn't go green even at level AP. Otherwise, this workaround does the job. Thanks all for input!
  17. Thanks will check it out. I've been flying since the 25T was released on and off and just started flying it again in DCS World. Feels like a new sim.
  18. Microsoft Flight

    True.
  19. Btw - where exactly are these "trim tab lights" located? I found them. Thanks. Still would like to know if real frog pilots had to "trim back to neutral" after disengaging AP or not. I would think they just moved their stick back to center postition to get neutral control surfaces. Could be wrong but I guess that's what a study sim is all about :)
  20. So you are saying pilots of real frogs need to "physically trim back to neutral" after disengaging AP? If so, that's end of this thread. If not, then it would be great for ED to fix this.
  21. Issue also happens with FFB disabled. Either way, control surfaces should be in synch with joystick axes when AP is disabled I think.
  22. Yep. I think the bug is that the joystick axes get out of synch with the control surfaces once autopilot is disengaged.
  23. Microsoft Flight

FSX was sold to Lockheed Martin In think.
  24. Ok, so I opened a ticket with ED. Hope they will fix this.
