Hi. Unable to dim or bright the display of the CDU. The rocker switch does nothing. Thanks. Antonio.

Ok, found the light. I was flying a 5 waypoints custom-made route (STEER PT knob on FLT PLAN position), and my mistake was trying to modify entries on WPT page. The corret way to proceed is through the page FPBUILD and then selecting the active flight plan and the desired waypoint. Now changes on SCALE, STEER and VNAV mode and angle can be made, and the pointers will react to the different entries. This job can made on mission editor as V-angle COMPUTED, like a predefines STAR on a commercial FMC, avoiding this way editing manually all waypoints, but the way to modify this parameters flyng a sequential route is like that. Thanks. Antonio.

Hi. I'm trying to fly a route following the 3D cues. I'm no sure if this works; it seems that the vertical pointer (left side) of the ADI compares the altitude over a waypoint and the next and then it computes and creates a vertical path between them, regardless the VNAV settings inserted (2D, 3D computed or entered). Modifying the path angle on page 2 of the WAYPT page [VNAV MODE], nothing changes. Usually I set VNAV 3D and path "ENTERED" ([3.0] degrees for descent for example), but the pointer on the left side of the ADI follows its own path ignoring this. As said, it seems that the vertical pointer of the ADI ignores the VNAV settings entered (2D, 3D computed or entered) and follows the pre-set waypoints altitude. The only information I can obtain from the system is the true path between two waypoints pressing COMPUTED. Is this feature implemented or do I something wrong? Thanks. Antonio.

Hi. In general, one of the features of the toggle switch guards is to set the switch in safe position when lowering the guard, pushing the switch down. On both switch guards installed in the A-10C cockpit on the left side, closing the guard nothing happens, the switch still armed. You can check this opening the guard again. It's not a bug but not realistic. Thanks! Antonio.

I noticed some changes on the Hog after the 2.5.5 update: the engine sound is different, the pilot makes some head movements (external view), the TGP color is also different and the ladder does not deploy. Isn't it? Regards! Antonio.

Hi. If I'm not wrong, when starting a mission, the displayed time on clock gauge is local time; Using CDU SYS page/GPS/TIME submenus, (or NAV page/TIME) the same time in LSK9 is shown as GMT, not local. In Nevada I set -07:00 (-08:00 summer time) in LCL ADJUST field and then I see the correct offset time but it does not agree with the real situation. They would be correct if at the time of the time change, the weather moves backwards 7 hours, but obvioulsy nothing happens outside. Is that a bug or I set something wrong? Antonio.

Hi. Aircrafts are usually refuelled in whole numbers, not percentage, so I made a table for converting both concepts. A whole amount of fuel can be selected on mission editor (5,000 lb, 9,000 lb), but not via the in-game window (ground crew menu). This table allows to convert it. The are also a rule explained for make calculations easier: If you want to refuel your A-10C to 9,000 lb, take the thousands minus one (8 in this case) and add the rest to nine (one in this case), 81%. 7,000 would be 63%, 10,000 would be 90%. the only exception is 11,000 (99%). Fully loaded is 11,100 lb (100%). Link for the table: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305430/ Regards. Antonio.

Hi. Since the A-10C does not have a parking brake, a chocks option would be appreciated. Thanks. Antonio.

[FIXED INTERNALLY] AIM-7 spawns in sim mode and remains forever.

Ok, thank you, NineLine. Antonio. -
Hi. Flying with no ordnance on board and using SIM function, selecting Sparrow missile, 7M icon appears on stations 4 and 6 after master arm is switched on and button SIM is cycled, and still present all the time for the rest of the flight, and the quantity of 4 Sparrows is shown on the HUD. I suspect a bug there. Thank you. Antonio. AIM7-sim.trk

Hi. On HSI format and boxing WYPT the computed fuel is shown on the same place as the waypoint name, overwriting it. For the TCN it works fine (see track), but for WYPT it works well only if the waypoint name field is empty. Thanks. Antonio. WPTFUELOVERWRITE.trk

I noted that trimming is needed for yaw axis also due to the heavy drag in order to keep the ball centered. Concerning the ball: is there any digital info for slip ball? The box on the bottom EADI I think is the turn coordinator. I see it on the Stby ADI only.

If you want to see the DDI codes for all available weapons, I made my own list here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304428/

I put a target 15.000 ft. hi on a mountain peak and the max in-range circle resulted as wide as if the target were at sea level, resulting in a very, very short launch. So I supose the logic is not well computed for altitude.

Hi. Not sure if there is a bug or it is normal, but flying at supersonic speeds, the engines do not respond for idle command at Mach 1.22 and greater. Over that speed and selecting idle, it seems to be stucked at 99% N2, and I have to wait for spool-down until passsing M1.22 decelerating for take control over the engines in full range again. Tested in all maps. Thanks. Antonio.

Hi all. I made a modification on my Hotas Warthog for the F-18. This feature allows to feel military power detent and transition to AB avoiding the fingerlifs. Applying a little more force it permits the use of the Afterburner. It consists on a modification of the original stop detent by a plastic rasp or file in order to remove the stop detent creating a little slope. After that, just adjust the military power throught joystick curves in controller settings menu. *Important:* Do this at your own risk. Use a plastic rasp very carefully. Hi. Using selective jettison stations the AGM-88 fire. (Using Emerg Jett they work well). Thanks. Antonio.

Regarding the engine rpm during climb, I read on the manual two profiles: the "350 kts" until appropiate mach number and "climb schedule speed", but what engine rpm shoud be mantained during climb? Military? Max? Or there are an intermediate N2 rpm (90%, 95%...) at pilot discretion in order the vertical speed he wants to obtain? Thanks. Antonio.

500 ft parallel to BRC until 7 DME, but what speed? 300 kts? 350 kts? It depends on type of aircraft/weight? No info about speed for case I and II on NATOPS manual. 300 kt for Case III is mentioned. Thanks. Antonio.

Gracias, Manowar. Saludos.

Gracias, Rudel, ya los he pasado a públicos. Igualmente feliz año. Saludos. Antonio.

Buenas. Saludos. Antonio.
