Deck Crew different textures left/right eye
Arink429 replied to Sharkku's topic in Bugs and Problems
Same here, very annoying to my eyes. -
correct as is Swap function doesn’t work
Arink429 replied to Seether1980's topic in Bugs and Problems
The version of the web is not up to date. This last picture is included in the manual located inside the game: \Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\A-10C_2\Doc -
It works fine if you press LCtrl+C. But if you asign the close canopy function to a device a (china hat switch forward in my case) it will open the canopy. The function is inverted if you use a switch asignement.
-
There is an open thread for that on the P-51 section.

Hi. After the 2.7 update, there is no sound in cockpit actuating the Landing Gear Fairing Door Emergency Release handle. Thanks. Antonio.

Thanks, Nineline.

reported P-51 RAM air missing after patch.
Arink429 replied to grafspee's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yes, it seems to be an animation issue, not a functionality issue. -
As an implemented function for the Hornet, it would be interesting adding an axis for the rudder trim. I use a potentiometer for that purpose. Thanks.

The action for the mapped command to close the canopy is inverted. Both the open and close command open the canopy. Only able to close using the mouse over the hand crank. I edit: LCtrl+C closes the canopy too, but the as mentioned, the action when a switch is asigned to the joystick is inverted.

reported P-51 RAM air missing after patch.
Arink429 replied to grafspee's topic in Bugs and Problems
I remember before the patch they were able to travel through all the track using buttons commands (not axis), but now both of them are only able to reach fully open or fully closed, not intermediate positions. -
fixed internally Flap lever no longer moves in increments in 2.7
Arink429 replied to Campbell's topic in Bugs and Problems
And using flaps as axis, the lever does not move. The surfaces moves properly but the lever still static in cockpit. -
known issue Jumping clouds
Arink429 replied to Charly314159's topic in Weather System Bugs & Problems
Same happens here. -
Hi. After the last aircraft is launched, the deck crew prepare the deck for landing. I've seen on several videos that they cover the shuttle with a metal shield and they attach to the track several pieces with a speeder. What are those pieces placed for? Antonio.

How to setup CASE II conditions for Super carrier
Arink429 replied to Jself's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
The conditions shown on the picture above are for Case III. You need visibility of at least 5nm for Case I and II. As you probably know, for visibility higher than 5nm, the portion between 1,000 to 3,000 is the cloud base window for Case II: below that value we are on Case III and above on Case I. For Case II set the base value between 1,000 and 3,000 for Case II. As simple as that. I made a mission for practicing Case II with these parameters: -Base: 1200 (to be forced to step down from 1,200ft to 800ft at 10nm). -Thickness: máximum (6562) -Density: 9 No fog enabled Regards. Antonio. -
Understood. Thank you very much for your answer and your documents, Pieterras! Antonio.

Hi. It's known that under Cyclic Operations each squadron has its assigned holding altitude. But what happens if one of the lower levels is vacated? May the flight descend to 2000 ft before commencing or it's allowed to start descending to 800ft from the assigned altitude? Same for intermediate levels: If one altitude is vacated because its squadron is not flying the current event, may one flight descend to the most lower level vacated once holding on the stack? Other question: the 2000ft stack is also assigned for a sqdn. or is it reserved for depart the stack? Example: 3 sqdns on the event: assigned altitudes: 4000, 6000 and 8000. Once all of them hold over the stack at their altitudes, may the 4000 start descending to 2000, the 6000 to 3000 and the 8000 to 4000 before departing? or what is the procedure in this case? Thanks. Antonio.

reported earlier DMH and Steering Cue Wrong
Arink429 replied to stuart4544's topic in Bugs and Problems
Lot of people (me included) reported long time ago that the Caucasus map is not properly oriented. As a result of that lof of calculations are a mess. It seems that the error matches the magnetic variation (6-7 degrees in Caucasus map). I you fly strait to any waypoint (no wind centered on hud), you will see it on TAD on the left side. Still unresolved. -
Yes, that's what I do actually. I extend ladder and close Oxygen lever, then I go outside for walk around.
-
Well, it depends on when/where you want to be placed. The first thing I do everytime I fly is pressing F2 and perform an external walk around, taking account of: livery, sidenumber, loads, flaps and speedbrake position, chocks and obstacles around and specially behind de engines for start-up. In this scenario, it makes sense the ladder to be deployed. I make my desired changes via ground crew menu, assuming I will find my aircraft in that state, and after that I jump into the pit and start the cockpit preparation check list.
-
I wish Chocks on always when aircraft spawns on ground, and for cold and dark starts I wish the most expected RL cold and dark situation: ladder deployed, flaps up, slats deployed, Stby ADI properly caged (not intermediate position) Fuel selector rotary in MAIN, Cabin OPER switch in AUTO, TEMP and FLOW in mid position, and seat in most upper position.

reported M257 flare rockets illuminate over land only
Arink429 replied to Arink429's topic in Weapon Bugs
Yes, I read it, but even introducing a low value (1,400 feet) the flare starts firing at the same height, not at 2,800'. It seems that the rocket flies 15-17 seconds always and then ignites. But this was a secondary issue and deserves another post. I should post here concerning the tittle only. No flare light over water. -
HI. They does not illuminate over water, land only. Also HOT is set at 3,000 feet and it fires at 7,000. Do I something wrong or is that another issue? I attach track. Thank you. Antonio. Illum rockets A10.trk

Hi. Since I unpluged a particular device (cougar DDI) I 'm not able to use the program. I get the message "an error ocurred while loading the file". I supose the program is trying to find this file where the device was active when created. Is there any way to edit de modules files for deleting this device? I tried also a reinstallation with negative results. Thank you and Happy Hollidays. Antonio.
