  1. In my opinion, for the A-10 chocks should be a *must*. And for all planes, the most realistic initialization for a cold and dark start should be: canopy closed, chocks on and engine/pitots covers installed and all systems/oxygen off. After that, deploying ladder, placing GPU, or opening canopy (aircrafts without ladder) should remove pitot/engine covers, and then cockpit checks can be initiated.
  2. It’s OK. Correct position for cockpit preparation according manual.
  3. Hi. According A1-F18AC-NFM-000, page IV-11-21, the reference CG (%MAC) for lot 20 is 22.3%. In RL, the location of the CG differs a little from this value. For performance calculations, do we have to assume that the unique CG of the DCS Hornet matches the reference one (22,3%)? Thanks. Antonio.
  4. I attach the track. Thanks. Antonio. Tank 2 feeds both engines on ground.trk
  5. Tank 2 feeds left engine and tank 3 feeds the right one, but on ground with both engines running only tank 2 depletes. Tank 3 quantity still unalterable. Is that a bug? Thanks. Antonio.
  6. [iNVESTIGATING]Aircraft icon location differs on HSI and SA page Hi. The location of the aircraft icon on the center of HSI is not the same as shown on SA page. The rest of compass card is ok. I attach track. Regards. Antonio. AC location on HSI.trk
  7. Well, that was the problem, a pilot error. Via IFFCC the new gun ammo type reflects the change, and I confirm the dialog records and stores the new ammo info after "rearming complete" message. Sorry about that, you can remove the thread. Thanks. Antonio.
  8. Hi. The gun ammunition type can only be selected within mission editor. Once mission is started, the new selection made via in-game window (ground crew) does not take effect. Thanks.
  9. Master caution light works but there is no sound when performing the Fire test, oxygen test or disconnecting a generator and probably more caution events. Antonio.
  10. Hi, The southern part of the Nevada map do not load at certain scale (For the Hornet at 10NM and 5NM scale). I tried deleting Fxo and metashaders2, then repair, and still bugged. Thanks. https://www.dropbox.com/s/seteldqu6t4giu8/Captura%20de%20pantalla%20%28227%29.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/zc138pthdgwf1ys/Captura%20de%20pantalla%20%28228%29.png?dl=0
  11. Hi. The press animation on the joystick for the paddle switch and undesignate/steering mode buttons are inverted. Thanks.
  12. Same here. After the last update I'm forced to press twice the switch for extension lot of times.
  13. Hi. I'm unable to fly again after stopping and restarting the Hornet. The flight controls system seems to be bugged. One slat remains down and its indication seems to be swapped on FCS page. Thanks. Antonio.
  14. Thanks! Antonio.
  15. Thanks, Avantar, now it works fine. I have to check some minor issue I encountered on the F-18's launch bar switch, sometimes it returns to retract position instantly after the extend command is giving. Curious because on 046 it didn't work, on 047 it worked fine and now time to time, but never mind, I will request to ED to made two separate commands, one for extension and other one for retraction,. Thank you very much for your work!! Antonio
  16. Thanks, Avantar! I sent you a PM, but I didn't get confirmation on my mess sent folder, so I write you here. Thanks again for the new update. I made something wrong surely, because on 0.48 the only current working function for me is the ejection, the rest does not operate. I reinstalled again 0.47 and all functions work (except ejection obviously), but now I' m unable to make it work. I will continue testing. Thank you!
  17. Hi. I noticed that the assigned command for mapping on rudder trim for left turn does not work, it must be actuated "mouse-on-switch". Right command is ok. Gracias! Antonio.
  18. Yep, I observed that, and blinking strobe light in daytime was also fixed. CDU bright (no dim) and Caucasus offset map on MFCD still present.

  20. Hi. On NATOPS Performance manual, concerning Take Off Distance Charts, we can read: "For take off weights greater than 45.000 lb, 10º nose up initial stabilator trim is recommended". If we do so, the CHECK TRIM advisory message is shown. The game triggers this message with any stabilator trim setting lower than 12º. As 10º is therefore considered as normal operation for heavy wheigts, Does the pilot take off with this message on the DDI, or should the message be triggered with Stabilator trim lower than 10º instead of 12º? Thanks.
