With 35070 registered members that means almost 10 females! Hells bells, I'm getting nervous... Better overcompensate with a MASSIVE cannon

In missions where there are other A10 flights they are presumably also using the JTAC so why is there never any traffic on the frequency?
-
Auto, semi and manual all work the same program, but you can trigger or stop the program on semi and manual.

Wool flight gloves? Get a shemaugh as well and you're set for action. -
Just flew a mission from Vaziani, there is definately a spot on the middle of the runway, didn't damage the A10 this time but it sounded and looked like I hit a dog.

What is this little white arrow for on the ADI?

That thing tells you your altitude offset to the ILS glidescope. Page 110 in my manual :) -
The landing gear lights switch is next to the anti-skid switch.

It's identical from my point of view, except 0.05MB smaller. Is it different for you? Did I make it to the runway on your track?

I was never on the grass. I took off from the same spot the AI takes off from. I asked for clearance 4 times because I didn't see or notice the helicopter on the runway. Are we on the same patch here? Or am I not part of the formula.

I usually use the time feature on long taxi runs (which is why you see the unstable wobble and too high speeds in the track) but I was dicking around on another flight and managed to takeoff from the taxi strip then land on the runway with no problems, with roughly the same loadout and weight. Only run into this problem at Vaziani. On a side note, watching the plane scrape along the runway at 120 knots supported by a gatling gun is mindblowingly awesome

I usually turn it off just as it hits 50, but I'll view the track again to check Edit: Yep, turned off NWS at ~50 IAS. The nosewheel snapped off at ~115 IAS.

You should be fine. If you notice low write speeds in 6 months or a year or so do a low-level format and it's fresh again :)

How do you put the JTAC coordinates into the TAD or CDU? Sometimes when playing around with setting network groups on the TAD I'll get all the JTAC 9-line information as a message but I haven't found out how to set a SPI at the coordinates without using the on-screen labels

Was taking off on a map of The Serpents Head when SLAM, GAU-8/A-steering. Last time I took off from Vaziani there was also a SLAM but nothing happened so I took off as planned. On external view I noticed a big black spot on the left engine. Anyone else run into this? See track file. wat.trk

Use the radar altimeter? One VERY good and often overlooked feature is to set RDALT tape to Y in the display modes IFFCC test function. This gives a tape going from 0 to 1500 feet AGL on the hud. Can pull off some sick moves using that thing.

OCCT can test your PSU but it may seriously screw up other components if it's actually faulty. How do other games behave?

Wouldn't it stall at high G? 4G's is easily 50 extra tons of aircraft that needs to be countered by uplift. And remember it's a lot slower than F-16's and the likes.

I went back for a refuel and rearm during Devil's Cross. There was an F15 blocking the path for 4 Tornado's right at the intersection near where you start, the entire airfield was locked down completely as the F15 was facing the Tornado's and refusing to move. I managed to taxi around them over the grass but my wingman got stuck in the line. When I realized that the entire map was void of anything other than enemy forces and the AWACS I made a pass over the airfield. They were all there. One F15, 4 Tornado's and three A10's. I couldn't get the screenshots to work but I've got the track file.

There is around a 30% chance that the bomblets do not explode when not finding a target, and because of the autodetonation they remain extremely unstable. In short, there are less undetonated bomblets left behind by a smart cluster weapon but they are more likely to cause civilian casualties later on.

Ah, thank you :) And goodbye Chief. Lets hope I won't need anyth... HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?

New pilot! Question while waiting for my Hotas!

I'm assuming clutter is the altitude of the player where bushes and ground objects start rendering. With your rig those aren't the droids you're looking for. Just set it to 500 and move along. Move along. :book: -
They use an advanced form of inductive coupling using coils in left and right engine.

Find the throttle in the in-game options. Under "Axis tune" tick the box marked "slider" :) You may need to set the throttle manually in-game outside the profile first, and beware that for the X52, the game picks the default throttle as the "precision slider" so unless you've cleared or remapped that, it may create a conflict.

Seems that the battery DC and inverter AC power is too classy for the radio and I'm pretty sure starting a gigantic turbine requires permission to startup. Startup meaning going from a cold aircraft to a warm aircraft.
