  1. Hi, with flaps down the ailerons should still travel their full range, while now they are limited to only a few degrees up. This was reported by a couple of RL Hornet pilots (not sure if that's been reported here too). Anyway, you can also see the video here, it's bad quality but clearly shows it. EDIT: found a much better video, watch 00:27 old video
  2. I see, thanks for clarifying :)
  3. I just flew a night mission and to my surprise the DMT had FLIR vision like the TPOD (the TPOD wasn't even loaded on the plane). IIRC, previously it was just a CCD camera and useless at night, is this a bug or a feature?
  4. It's in the comments on youtube, "ghost cop".
  5. Wow, glad you like it guys, it's encouraging me to make another one... at some point :D Actually, I'm struggling to find decent free-to-use music to use in videos. If you happen to know any site please let me know. Thanks!
  6. Thanks Rudel!
  7. Enjoy https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3588069#post3588069
  8. Hey guys, here's my first attempt at putting together a cinematic video, driven by a fictional storyline (very short by the way). Hope you enjoy, and please let me know what can be improved ;)
  9. Ln has a public bug tracker, however I don't know how up-to-date it is. I know for sure I logged a few bug reports there, one was declared solved while in-fact it wasn't (an dnever has been). Anyway that could give you an idea. Other than that, the main complaints are regarding the ASP integration and the FM (AoA) as far as I know. Something I pointed out multiple times, but nobody really cares about it, is the bug in the Afterburner modeling, which I reported on the bug tracker but somehow, it disapeared...
  10. I reported this a looooong time ago, but it's still there.. The nose wheel is slightly off-center in the 3d model, look closely from the front and you will see. Would be nice to fix this little thing, the 3d moidel is otherwise perfect.
  11. Sorry but, if users wanted a 'fun factor" they wouldn't come looking for a study sim. The fact the MiG-21 is a difficult aircraft is in itself the fun factor. By modifying that, not only you made an unrealistic FM, but you also betrayed the very first selling point of your product: realism. There are a number of big question marks on this FM, and no real pilot claim can go against logic and physics. - The fact you shouldn't be able to steer the aircraft on the ground just by using the rudder at less than 5 knots... where is that aerodynamic force coming from??? - The fact the afterburner provides instant acceleration as soon as the throttle is pushed past the detent, while in reality it wouldn't even be lit yet, because the nozzle actuator is still opening... - The critical AoA that went through unbelievably huge changes throughout the years, we could fly level at 50 degrees AoA, now it stalls at 18 or something like that... I mean, how can we trust this?
  12. Posted this elsewhere, but I figured it would fit well here :)
  13. I feel exactly the same as you, I was hoping ED woudl fix it given they're including it in a product that is sold directly by them... oh well, it seems the MiG-21 will stay in the hangar forever
  14. Have you tried to go into the Bug/FM section? There are in depth posts there, no point re-writing everything all the time, just do a little research
  15. Well, that sucks. No justice for this amazing aircraft (and those who bought it!)
  16. So, apparently the MiG-21 without a cliackable cockpit will be in the upcoming Modern Air Combat. As with other FC3 planes, despite the lack of advanced system modeling, the flight model shuould be up to scratch and as realistic as the FM on the full blown modules. Does this mean that ED is going to take charge and fix issues with the MiG-21 FM, engine and damage model? That would be great, I suppose those changes should then be ported to the "full fidelity" version, otherwise there would be MiG-21s with different FMs flying around the same server...
  17. BTW, I read on the manual at page 65: tried in-game but I don't see any such hatch at the conditions stated in the manual, does it need to be animated or am I doing something wrong?
  18. Hi guys, any idea what axis controls the radar elevation? Using a button is really hard and the elevation is way too sensitive, it's hard to find the sweet spot...
  19. I'm playing with everything maxed out, but the nozzle is not animated and the inside looks very flat... apart from that, I take back the MiG-21 vibes comment, this module is a lot of fun and I'm impressed by the A-G radar and the anti-ship missiles, it's awesome!
  20. I just bought the viggen, and this is the first thing I noticed! Crap, this module is giving me some MiG-21 vibes (a.k.a. weird bugs that will never be ironed out...)
  21. Thanks! It wasn't perfect though, I placed the rear wheels *just* inside the landing pad, one inch more and I would have flipped backwards into the sea!
  22. Wind, have a play with it. I love the sea in DCS 2.5, it's really well made.
  23. Well, it wasn't easy and didn't quite land in the middle of the helipad, plus the helicopter was sliding and bouncing everywhere after landing, BUT, I felt quite satisfied with myself :joystick:
  24. Yep, it's a bug since a few versions. The F10 view is very bugged in general, the game freezes for a minute or two to load the map. It's bad, hope they fix this stuff.
  25. When flying in certain light conditions, especially dawn / dusk facing the sun, the canopy is so badly sccrathed that it's literally impossible to see targets on the ground. Other aircraft in DCS have a much more subtle effect. Please tone it down a little :helpsmilie:
