Thank god for this thread! I was going crazy!!! Let's wait for Friday then!
-
If there is slots open for Lonewolf,, thanks for hosting these matches! Callsign: NaCH Prefered Aircraft: MIG21 SU25A
-
I found about the plane, but not for the AG radar. I hope you are right and we don't have to wait another 3 more years.
-
So DCS is already able to simulare AG radar? Because so far there is not a single module on DCS that support it.
-
I would say the F-5.... There is a lot of F-5's on Matt video streaming
-
The biggest problem I see is that you don't have concealment because the trees don't count and that is something that any attack chopper pilot will use when going to strike enemy position were the area is not secure. In the same way there is no concealment the enemy AI can actually see you thru the woods and shoot at you and that is something you can't do.
-
I would love to have this plane simulated full in DCS...
-
Is too expensive. For a non disputed Air space you should have UCAVs
-
A Tucano or Texan a replacement for an A10!!!??????? UCAV has more chances to replace the A10 that those models.
-
What is wrong is the image that you are comparing. One is 2000-5 and the other is the C

don't know if what post but here is the video for that Weapon integration:

Let's hope you are right! Maybe all these features will be included when the straight on hormuz is released... as for sure they will need a Nimitz class there. I Know are not listed as feature but I have some hope the statement marked in Bold will mean that more than just eye candy and perf for DCS 2.0 " Some features we plan to include in DCS World 2 include: Direct X 11 support Improved performance Dynamic shadowing of the terrain and mountains Improved weather Improved lighting Clipmap support for new maps Higher object counts Higher resolution ground terrain mesh and textures for new maps (between 1 and 64 meters per pixel depending on area of map and clipmap level) More detailed tree models with collision for new maps Better graphical effects High resolution road textures for new maps Ability for road signs and light signals for new maps Additional ground clutter (rocks, cactuses, etc.) for new maps Skeleton animation for infantry Better use of multiple GPUs (CPU multi-threading is not being pursued as it will provide little if any gain) Ability to create dedicated servers in the future Unified front end and simulation .exe Improved API sound support Improved Oculus Rift support The Black Sea map will see several benefits of this including better lighting, improved grass, effects and weather. This will be the best plane ever for DCS .. doing MP with tactical strikes with long range mission! Still I want the Mig 23 first... or a Mirage as a natural contender against the MIG 21.

maybe they are changing the site for the surprise! I hope we have more planes that the majority does not want (MIG23 - SU22 - SU15 ) like they did with the Mig... -

The best news! 2 more airframes! -
Let me clarify something: I think the f14 was a formidable weapon system at the moment it was operational. Now why I don't like it... because it is a "Hollywood" plane and IMHO there are other areas that DCS as a "sandbox" should growth. I don't play SP. To me the fun is in MP so in my view I would like to have planes that actually are at the same era so you we have to manage the advantage and limitation of each one. Also I don't know how they are going to solve the 2 seat problem. To me the only way is to have 2 human players... if not it will never be right in my view. Regarding being a versatile mission performer I disagree but that is personal opinion.. I think the F18 is a more capable plane and has the ability do the same and better. Ultimately I want adversary of the MIG21... and recreate online the the fights of MIII over the straight of hormuz could be epic. And after all that you add a dynamic mission generator with a "live" environment or something like a game master and in my view you are in the nirvana of sims :D .

lol.. I know is an ugly thing but still it will be really fun to me to operate in the sea.
-
You are mean :P Still I hope for something different that a F14... My order in Awesomeness Mirage III MIG 23 Su22 F9F Panther Yak38 A4C F16 Anything else even and airliner! . . . . . F14
-
Thanks and sorry everyone for the OT.
-
For your first post that is awesome! F4D! please. I even love the shape of it :D It can even fit at the "Korea" era.
-
That is why making a F-14 is absurd to me... unless you are only doing it for the Marketing. I have question that maybe someone with better knowledge of radars could help me answer: If my mig radar has 30k of detection range, that mean that the wave has the strength to bounce back in an object and travel back those 30k and be picked up by the dish? If my above statement is correct why a RWR only pick the mig21 radar when is about 35 to 40ks. The wave should reach at least 55k and be picked up ? And this should also apply to all the rest of the radars.

These looks really close to ARG Navy ones. The diff are the numbers and they don't the stripes at the win tips.
