Id have to say yea they use it and yes it is needed. Some jets like the F14 would get into a flat spin without it .... so yea its very important to have it and use it.

Ok found the video of the F14 i was talking about. This video absolutely knocked me down I just couldnt get over the detail that went into this model. Yea, I hear ya brotha. Nothing like being immersed into the game with all the air traffic and sortis like you mentioned. I love that too. I hate feeling like im the only one on the planet flying around. I found an absolutely amazing video of the Tomcat in FS that I have to hunt down and post in here when i find it again. :joystick:

totally agree with you bflagg. I was thinking that people seem very oblivious to what this means. Most people I know dont even want to hear all the technical advice I have to give um they lose interest within the first 30 seconds. I guess ignorance is bliss. :joystick:

Ok , now I have a question because I was always lead to believe that nose hot meant that the bandit is active (or radar is active). I think I picked that terminology up from two places : 1.) The Navy 2.) Janes USAF While refueling they ask you to go nose cold. So maybe I just carried it over into Lomac thinking it was the same terminology but doesnt that make more sense? I dont know Im confused now ... lol. So my question is what does nose hot or cold mean in Lomac and in real life? I think it refers to whether or not your radar is on or off. But I have been known to be wrong.:D
