  1. Well, that would explain some of the problems I've had in the past. :D
  2. Which makes it even more vapourware than the R-73 on the Ka-50. Good luck with that.
  3. I'll take something that actually had weapons.
  4. Well, let's put out the word that we're looking for Russians with a good microphone to do some voiceovers.
  5. Probably not listed because it kinda goes against the very idea of DCS to have fantasy aircraft in the game.

Well, I imagine that coding for DCS is harder than FSX thanks to all the avionics involved, so I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
  7. This is the reason I enjoy it. I just wish I had a Ka-50N to fly at night with my friends as well.:P Oh, very much so. I stinks that we're given the R-828, but no real way to use it.
  8. I'd rather like to carry more than two FAB-100's over a mountain.
  9. Yeah, it'd be fun only being able to fly with a couple FAB's if you wanted to actually get anyone and automatically ejecting when one of your lift engines died on landing or takeoff. I rather like its nickname of "foremast defence fighter". :D
  10. Can Russian Ka-50's use JTAC, or is that still a pipe dream?

Man, I hate it when the only way to see updates from a company is via Facebook...
  12. If a Su-35 module is made, it won't be by ED. They've committed themselves to aircraft that have lots of documentation so they can make incredibly accurate aircraft. You'll notice that the F-35 is being made by a third party dev. I really don't have much expectations that it will be terribly accurate.
  13. Probably because there'd be more actual information on the earlier Su-27 versions than the new Su-35. Realism > speculation.
  14. DCS PAK-FA would be nothing but wild speculation.
  15. +1. It should only disappear on the map of players, not the mission designer.
  16. Even Russians have this feeling about Russia? Damn.
  17. I don't know, why don't you level that question at the 3rd party developers that are making those modules? Then ask Russian devs why there aren't more of them creating modules for Russian aircraft.
  18. Not when a MiG-21Bis is already in the works.
  19. You posted the link to show off how much better the Russian jets are. I quote, The argument may be made within the context of getting more Russian planes in DCS World (something I am not against), but the argument itself remains "Russian equipment is so much better than Western counterparts and here is proof. This is why more Russian stuff should be in the game". And yes, that is the essence of your argument, because you followed it with 59th_LeFty simply pointed out one of the truly egregious mistakes on that image you posted.
  20. Fixed the issue. Opened up the mission file in 7zip, opening the \Config\View\ folder and deleted the contents. Opened the file again in the mission editor and saved.
  21. I've been experiencing a problem where jumping into an F-15C or Su-27 cockpit leaves you with only 3-axis of motion when looking around (roll, pitch, yaw) with TrackIR, but no other degrees of freedom in the cockpit. My initial position is also too high in the cockpit. Additionally, the roll axis is screwed up. This only affects me when I try to play in missions that I made before 1.2.4, but not new ones. I've tried saving missions under the new patch. I've tried removing the F-15C's from the mission and replacing them again. It doesn't change anything. What can I do to fix my old missions? I really don't want to lose them.
  22. Yeah. I think Isreal only bought the F-4E, though.
  23. It is somewhat disheartening that the only DCS quality Russian fixed-wing aircraft that are planed are the MiG-21Bis (Vietnam-era)* and the Su-27SM (finally! A Russian multi-role!), compared to the plethora of options Western nations are getting. Now, I understand that most of modules are being made by third-parties, but that doesn't make it less annoying. And isn't ED themselves working on the F/A-18C module?
  24. Considering we are going to get a MiG-21Bis, I vote for an F-4 to tangle with it in the skies. Which F-4 would we be talking about, though? I'm thinking F-4D, F-4E or F-4J, all Vietnam-era aircraft. USAF Phantoms did, at least the F-4C and F-4D.
  25. Edit the stores allowed in the aircraft's lua file in \Scripts\Database\planes\ The list of allowable ordinance is in \Scripts\Database\db_weapons_data.lua The CLSID for the Mercury pod is B1EF6B0E-3D91-4047-A7A5-A99E7D8B4A8B
