  1. I've managed to get the Harrier working again, though I've enabled it not as the AV-8B but as the GR.7 (since that's what the model is). Works pretty well, for the AI anyway. I made use of already existing Harrier mods (mainly ones that add it as a flyable aircraft), though I modified the file to only apply to AI aircraft. I figured the UK needed more aircraft.
  2. It would be nice if the 9M120 was even an option.
  3. I may very well be misremembering who is doing the module. In any event, it is one being made.
  4. RAZBAM is already working on the F-5E.
  5. Just go to \Scripts\Database\db_weapons_data.lua and do a search for those weapons. Searching for "AGM-88" brought up an ID of {B06DD79A-F21E-4EB9-BD9D-AB3844618C9C} The Kh-58 was harder to track down; had to open up some plane config files to find it. {B5CA9846-776E-4230-B4FD-8BCC9BFB1676}
  6. Don't know how up-to-date these are. Helipads & Cargo Tents All Mods Upuaut
  7. That's something you should be asking the mod author. In his thread.
  8. Except the F-15 can dogfight, which are fun to get engaged with. The MiG-31 cannot dogfight.
  9. The problem with the MiG-31 is that it intercepts... and not much else. It can't dogfight, so its whole schtick will be firing at long range and acting sort of like a mini-AWACS for other aircraft. The versions that are likely to be modeled (i.e. the original and maybe the MiG-31B) don't have any ground-attack capability, so even that would be out.
  10. So, anyone have any idea what format the A-7's config files are in? It's no longer plain text, but what other format can DCS read for lua files?
  11. Don't you mean stern? Unless the Soviets were in a habit of making their bows square-shaped.
  12. While I would like to see a VTOL, I don't think the Yak-38M would be terribly interesting.
  13. Don't know, the countermeasure systems on a lot of Russian aircraft was quite lacking for a good long while. The state of their RWR display is a pretty visual indicator of this.
  14. That stinks. I wonder what lua lines are linked to those tabs showing up.
  15. It won't be moved unless the actual aircraft has the display there. This is a sim, so people value accurate representations of the source material, so I doubt you will find anyone willing to do the necessary modeling work to change anything.
  16. The polycount on those tank rounds seems excessively high for something that's only seen for a slit second.
  17. Hmm, the A-7E armament seems a bit off, but I can't edit the files to change accepted loadouts. They seem to be in some kind of unknown format as the files Aa, Ac and Aw. Anyone have any idea how to convert those files?
  18. Nope, no issue with missing files. I'll have to ask a couple friends to see if they are having the same issue.
  19. Yes, I use JSGME. I have several mods, but to troubleshoot I disabled all of them except for "GUI - Adjustable Frequency Presets for Flyable Helicopters (Master)", which I re-enabled just to be sure nothing was overwritten. Without enabling the "Ka-50 - Adjustable Frequency Presets (Module)" mod, I was able to change the radio frequencies of the Ka-50 when set to Client, but the same was not true for either the UH-1H or the Mi-8MTV2. To reiterate, I disabled all my mods in JSGME, then enable "GUI - Adjustable Frequency Presets for Flyable Helicopters (Master)" and nothing else.
  20. I'm not seeing the radio frequency tab on the UH-1H or the Mi-8MTV2. It shows up fine for the Ka-50, which I own.
  21. Is it really? I'm skeptical that it won't wind up the same as the F-35 project because I'm not sure there's really enough publicly available information to really make a properly modeled aircraft. As for the Su-35, I feel with the way Russia keeps its secrets there's likely similar issues with making a sim of that. But yes, I would love to see more Russian jets, particularly any multi-role ones that could possibly pop up. Some more modern mud movers would be fun, like perhaps the Su-24M.
  22. I don't think it is; didn't those versions have the extra pylon like on the Su-33? It still has the Su-27S number of pylons.
  23. Balance has absolutely nothing to do with it; the ability to make an accurate model of the aircraft is.
