IP issues, I'm sure. They'd have to hammer out a deal with the original mod author, and even then I'm sure there's regional IP issues to resolve. They probably figure it's not worth the bother and better to let users update the model themselves if they want.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure things like IFF and secure radio aren't complete unknowns. How they work, from a basic level, is understood. Specifics, like the actual codes you punch in and stuff, are what's classified.

Without the ability to set radio frequency, the Su-25 won't be able to very much use FAC. The Su-27SM might, when it comes out.

True, but scripting is a top-level system and so is a greater resource tax on the computer system than one that is incorporated into the code of the engine. Personally, I have trouble finding the code required for the operations I want to do.

Why would you be able to laser deg targets for the Su-25T? This mod in no way talks about that.

Well that blows. Let's hope BIS plans to add some of this capability in on its own in Combined Arms or something. No FAC (or radio AWACS) on the Red side is really killer.

Well, I managed to take a look at the Russian-language version of DCS A-10C, and unfortunately the JTAC is still in English (as is AWACS, oddly enough). So, what would have to be done to enable JTAC on the Russian side? It'll have to use the current English voices, unless a Russian community member wants to help out with recorded voices... The key I have set to the advanced radio options is LCtrl + \, but that may be different on your system.

Not in the same way you could in LOMAC. There, it was an actual 3D model of your aircraft that you could spin around and see your ordinance on the aircraft itself.

I rather miss how in LOMAC it would tell you how asymmetrical your loadout was. And let you see the actual aircraft with the weapon on it.
