  1. I would be down for a set if you could get the dimensions of the boards so that I make sure it will fit with with my plates.
  2. It appears ED did a website upgrade again and it broke the links. I have updated the links in the first post. You can also go here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/173790/ Happy flying!
  3. Hey guys, I havn't forgot about you, I have just been incredibly busy... I hope to look into this matter here in the new future.
  4. It might be possible in single player to set a trigger to disable a particular aircraft system, but it will not work in multiplayer as those triggers don't work in mulitplayer. Beyond that, I don't think its possible to do given the current trigger system. That being said, I would maybe see if somebody with some scripting know how might be able to do it using a script of some kind.
  5. Sorry for the late reply, Its been a crazy two weeks. Anywhow, Can you post a short track depicting this behavior?
  6. Thanks for you help Skinnadoor. If you were looking for some interactive in cockpit missions. Check out my signature.
  7. I have never encountered this issue before. If possible, could you post a short track depicting this behavior?
  8. That really depends on what module and aircraft you are wanting to learn on. FC3 has the most aircrafts available and they are easier to fly without full system modeling, clickable cockpits ect, vs the study level sims such as the A-10C and Ka-50. A-10C and Ka-50, Mi-8 and UH-1, p-51 are study level sims in which they have a fully clickable cokpit and full systems modeling.
  9. There are cases where a browser will rename the extension of the .rar itself. You have to change the actual zip/rar file from .zip/.rar to .miz and then play it in DCS for it to work right. Do not change anything inside the .zip/.rar file.
  10. Sorry I haven't posted earlier, life has been crazy. Everything looks great, Fantastic job! Going to be a while before I can start putting them on my pit however.
  11. Here is a link to an update that will fix the RAIM calculation issue: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/646047/ It may take a couple hours for the mods to approve the file however.
  12. Here is a fix for the RAIM calculations: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/646047/ Just extract the folder into your DCS World folder and allow it to overwrite. This file contains a back up of the original just incase this introduces a host of other issues. Please let me know if you do though! P.s. It might take a couple of hours for the link to get updated. Mods have to check these things. :)
  13. Hey guys, I cant do much for most of the bugs out there, but I noticed that my Advanced ABRIS training mission stopped being able to calculate RAIM predictions a while back. I finally tracked down the problem with that issue have fixed it on my end. I have uploaded a fix to the user section found here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/646047/ Just drop the file into your DCS World folder and your all set to start calculations. Let me know if it causes any other issues. I have not found any myself. Cheers! P.S. it may take a couple hours for the link to become active. Moderators have to check these things :)
  14. The thing to keep in mind is that EDGE has not been released yet. They are still working on integration so theses are issues are with the current engine and not the new one.
  15. I would do a forum search for PeterP. He has a lot of good information on multiple monitors and many other amazing fixes.
  16. My only comment on this thread to the OP is this... You have to also look at the game as a whole from where it came from with BS as a standalone, then A-10 came out. The two games did not even communicate with each other. Eventually, they released BS2 and that got the games talking to each other but still as standalone products. The fact they were communicating with two different aircraft at a study level took an enormous amount of coding effort. They then decided to merge the two together to create a single game to streamline the complexity of having to completely exit the game if you want to switch aircraft ect. This also took a good amount of effort and design to accomplish. Look at where the game as a whole is, compared to where it was and you can see where they have put a lot of development time in. yes, it has not been aircraft, but I think game will only get better and a lot easier to use in the future. Don't forget we are getting a new graphics engine soon! All of our aircraft into the future are going to feel and look amazing as well. There are other study sim aircraft in development and will be coming out in due time.
  17. 1.) Download DCS world. Put all of the downloads into a single folder then install. (1.exe, 4 .bin) http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/dcs_world/ 2.) Download the PROPER version of the game you have for BS2. Full version, or upgrade, it DOES make a difference. You can download through the module manager or from this location: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/ DO NOT Install yet. 3.) If you have the upgrade version continue, with this step, if NOT, skip it. Install BS1 onto your computer and activate it from here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/previous_versions/ 4.) Install BS2 module.
  18. I would not be so inclined to say that BS2 for DCS World is an issue, but whether or not you can run DCS World it self stably. The module plugs into it, but the base game is whats running most of the program and the rendering. BS2 is one of the older programs in the toolbox and is in a pretty good state with flight mechanics, weapons, ect. While it does not see as much love and attention as some of the newer modules that still require tweaks and what not, it still gets updated. Keep in mind that a lot of the weapons like the vikhrs are apart of the world, not specific to the module.

  20. Tone71 is correct. Make sure you have provided power to the Standby ADI from the power switch on the right panel. If its still not working, make sure you have turned on the AC generators from the right panel as well.
  21. Thanks :) Hopefully someday they might make an appearance.
  22. I can understand that. Keep in mind too that the new rendering system "EDGE" will be implemented here in the new future wich will hopefully rectify some of that issue. Im glad you got things sorted though :)
  23. Ah, that is the issue then. The missions have been saved in the newer format and not advisable to run in 1.1.1.1. I would strongly encourage you to upgrade your BS2 to the DCS world install. The game has come a LONG way from 1.1.1.1. with lots of improvements and features. You will loose your settings files, but with a little patience, you can rebuild em and these folks here on this forum can help ya do that. As for the CPU requirements I haven't looked in a while, but I am sure World is going to be a bit more CPU intensive than 1.1.1.1. Also keep in mind that 1.1.1.1 is no longer supported so you will never receive an update up for it. Where as the one in world will constantly be updated as required. Plus there is an auto updater to allow for smaller patches to be delivered and do repairs on your installation without the need to download ALL of the game files every time. You can also leave your 1.1.1.1 install on your computer if you have room and install DCS World to give her a spin. It will not affect your standalone install at all. If you don't like it, or cant run it, you can always delete it. Hope it helps!
