  1. Thanks, it is equal to JW4. Any AWACS, Tanker in mind?
  2. Question: will be on the model enlargement in the servers? at least in SMALL? when is in OFF is a very difficult to see a pixel against the background textures.
  3. 4. Thanks ! I will install it in our server Enviado desde mi SGH-I317M mediante Tapatalk
  5. Question: no AWACS? looks like it's working fine now.

  7. Hi Razor, good post, is the F-18 mod flyable with the latest 1.5.2 beta version?
  8. I still think the R-77 in DCS is underrated and lose speed too quick while in supersonic and subsonic. Weight 175 kg (R-77), 190 kg (R-77-1) Length 3.6 m (R-77), 3.71 m (R-77-1) Diameter 200 mm Warhead 22.5 kg HE fragmenting (R-77) Detonation mechanism laser proximity fuze Engine Solid fuel rocket motor (R-77), air-breathing ramjet (R-77-PD) Wingspan 350 mm Operational range 80 km (R-77), 110 km (R-77-1)[1] >200km (K-77M) Flight altitude 5–25 km (16,000–82,000 ft) Guidance system Inertial with mid-course update and terminal active radar homing Design characteristics Conventional planar control fins are shaped like miniature wings. By contrast, grid fins are a lattice of smaller aerodynamic surfaces arranged within a box. Their appearance has sometimes led them to be compared to potato mashers or waffle irons. Grid fins can be folded, pitched forward (or backwards), against the cylindrical body of a missile more directly and compactly than planar fins, allowing for more compact storage of the weapon; this is of importance where weapons are launched from a tube or for craft which store weapons in internal bays, such as stealth aircraft. Generally, the grid fins pitch forward/backward away from the body shortly after the missile has cleared the firing craft. In the case of the MOAB, grid fins allow the weapon to fit inside a C-130 cargo bay for deployment while the craft is in flight.[citation needed] Grid fins have a much shorter chord (the distance between leading and trailing edge of the surface) than planar fins, as they are effectively a group of short fins mounted parallel to one another. Their reduced chord reduces the amount of torque exerted on the steering mechanism by high-speed airflow, allowing for the use of smaller fin actuators, and a smaller tail assembly overall. Grid fins perform very well at subsonic and supersonic speeds, but poorly at transonic speeds; the flow causes a normal shockwave to form within the lattice, causing much of the airflow to pass completely around the fin instead of through it and generating significant wave drag. At high Mach numbers, grid fins flow fully supersonic and can provide lower drag and greater maneuverability than planar fins.
  9. stereo.lua for side by side Good post, do you have any monitorseup\stereo.lua settings for side by side stereo rendering? means for use without 3D Vision or TriDef.
  10. SORRY I have not read the BUG/FIXES in the initial page, there is the problem, we have to register each admin manually. I have a problem with this version 7.5, when trying to enter the password for admin, in the server it works perfect, but in any client PC, when I type -reg and click enter, DCS ask me to type the password, etc, and inmediately another message INVALID PASSWORD, DO NOT RE-ENTER THE PASSWORD .... type -reg again. Any idea? maybe a delay variable, or something in the client PC sending double enter key after the -reg? Regards, =71st= RuSh

  12. I agree with celestiale, so far the best war theater map is the Caucasus, all the other projects are wasted time, unless they extend the hormuz map to Saudi Arabia . You want a good map? Israel - Jordania - south Syria - iraq - north of Saudi Arabia - west. Of irán .... wow! Enviado desde mi SGH-I317M mediante Tapatalk
  13. wow terrific, thanks Grimes, this is a great tool indeed!! EDP71st RuSh
  14. Yes, looks like only works in the 1.2.16 version, not in 1.5.2, I installed again and worked. Thanks!
  15. Thanks, I'm using 1.5.2 openbeta, and I already know my key, but there is no way to type in the module installer.
  16. Hi Guys, I had the campaign and was playing for several days, after the latest update, the campaign doesn't appear in the availables campaigns, and in module installer is a NO KEY message in the serial number, no way it can let me in the serial number. Any idea?? Regards
  17. Nice software, but it only works if the export option is ON, in case you fly MP in 104th server or any other server with Export off, you will see nothing there. The same problem with TACVIEW, only records 1KB in servers with export off, you have to reply the track later to record the tacview.
  18. The russian Su-30M gorund mod for 1.5? is not working, the cockpit appear in low resolution and when you fully arm the plane, DCS crash. The same for the SU-24M The F-18A and F-18C are ok, Tornados need module activation, dont know why, while the others dont need it.
  19. The SU-30 Ground have problems with the cockpit, appear low textured all instruments, and the game crash when you load mixed weapons, the same for Su-24M F-18A and C, Tornados, F-15E, and ships works perfect
  20. The other EDP71st pilots will not be there, we have not money for maps, maybe in a year with 70% off :)
  21. I think ED should enable a key combination to change in game the viewDx, viewDy and eye_shift parameters, like the experimental 3D in Elite Dangerous, where you can change the depth of field and view. In DCS is a pain to edit the monitorsetup.lua, run the game, see how it works in 3D, exit the game ..... HORROR! I tested the setup posted by =EF=DAZZYD, but looks too plain, and the cockpit is not remarcable from the outside landscape will post my version later for 1920x1800 3D LG TV
  22. In fact the SARH missile can be directed using a CGI radar source, not all the radar modes of the MIG-29S are modeled in DCS, like the encounter mode, and I quote: "When the system is under direct GCI control via datalink, a 6 bar elevation raster scan is used. This scan covers a sector of 40° in azimuth at ranges up to 30km, 30° at ranges of 30-55 km, and 20° above 55km within the scan limits given above. The distance to target and other useful information is supplied by GCI command, and the direction of the scan is automatically cued by CGI command towards the desired target. " http://aerospace.boopidoo.com/philez/Su-15TM%20PICTURES%20&%20DOCS/Overscan's%20guide%20to%20Russian%20Military%20Avionics.htm
  23. All russian SARH and ARH misiles are visibles for the F-15 TEWS and russian Beryosa from the launch time, online documentation says that american TEWS can detect the telemetry sent by RF from the aircraft to the missile and knows that a missile was launched (which I sincerily doubt), every interview I watched in youtube and pilots contradicts that, but the guys of ED will defend their model against all odds dont waste your time trying to argue with them.
