  1. No parking brakes. If your wheels are on tarmac and you don't activate the wheel brakes, the plane should move very easily.
  2. With TM Hotas Warthog: Joystick pinky button With keyboard: Insert-key
  3. Yes. There are tens of pages of CDU stuff only, which info mainly IMHO is not essential for a newbie. Maybe the nav/divert sub-page is an exception.
  4. Winger, see this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1301763#post1301763
  5. Thanks for the reply, paulrkii. So it is a safe procedure, even if airborne?
  6. Should I try it? I have a certain kb combination assigned, which will reset trim. So haven't tried airborn Takeoff Trim so far.
  7. This is very interesting. Especially, because it is called "Takeoff Trim". Is it possible/advisable to use it while airborne?
  8. For further info (I know you have been told the basics by other forum members), see attached pdf-files HotasWarthog_Stick_Plate.pdf HotasWarthog_Throttle_Plate.pdf
  9. OK, I do apologize. The piddle pack thing just occurred to me. After having a couple of beers. No offence meant, whatsoever. Maybe it was not so funny, afterwards. Sorry.
  10. I'm not laughing, not at all. This is serious shit, man. Or urine. Anyway.... ;)
  11. Piddle pack consumption mentioned? :music_whistling:
  12. Good thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86079 :pilotfly:
  13. Green x symbol means any friendly forces. So, don't shoot at them.
  14. And the Maverics are a pretty common topic anyway. Just use the forum Search and you'll find all the info. Just a little patience, it will take some time to read thru all the threads and messages.
  15. I don't use Steam, but your problem reminds of this message I posted a few months ago: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1353934&postcount=304
  16. Kinda busy, so didn't read the whole thread thru. But, TIR is a MUST thing! Cannot live without it. Seriously.
  17. I'm not sure what you mean, but I think there is no need to "WILCO" in order to see the triangle. I normally get rid of the message (TMS Left Short) and the triangle is there. I then "zoom in" using EXP-modes, hook the triangle and make it SPI. Then WILCO.
  18. Tell me (us) more.
  19. I have seen some net forum reports of dying LEDs of Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle. LEDs normally are very long-lasting. If no excess current. Cannot say if it is a current problem, or just some other components dying.
  20. Strange...
  21. Visually, just guestimate. There is no indicator/gauge.
  22. See this thread, I think it pretty much explains the essential stuff: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=85434 edit: one more link, about how to use brakes: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1375574#post1375574
  23. OK, mod, now I understand. However, that mod doesn't seem to be very handy.
  24. Exactly. Strange. I've always used keyboard with my left hand as sobek mentioned. Never even thought about using mouse.
