  1. Excellent skins as always JST,may I take this oppotunity to thank you,I love your historical skins, your attention to detail is outstanding  Please keep up the great work Sir.
  2. Friedrich.....are you aware that there were a number of variants of Johnson's Spitfire IX with the code JE J ?.....because he was a Wing Commander he was entitled to sport his initials in the code. The Spitfire IX I have been uploading pic references for definitely sported the Green Maple leaf,it has been well documented, this was when he was OC of Kenley Wing during the Spring of 1943,however on later variants his Spitfire did sport the Red version. This is probably why you are questioning my references, his Spitfire IX which sported the D-Day black/white stripes had the Red Maple leaf for a start, and this is when he was OC with No 144 Wing stationed at Ford in June 1944,so there were different versions, with different Maple leaf emblems on,but all with JE J as the code.
  3. .....Mmm,that's what i have done,oh well,i shall have to investigate this further.......I expect it's my fault somewhere  Thanks for your trouble and time razo+r,it's much appreciated buddy
  4. Yeah, that's what i've done I discarded the Boeing B17-E/Mods/aircraft bit and added the Boeing B17-E folder that comes directly after the aircraft folder,I then added this into my main DCS/Mods/aircraft folder. This was a fresh install of DCS World as well,so I know it's not corrupted....just weird
  5. Could I ask you razo+r how you have implemented them, again, this does'nt work for me on version 1.5.5.60565 (the latest version).....sorry to be a pain.
  6. Thanks Hawkeye, this is very much appreciated......I will check these out and report back sir
  7. Yes....not working here either,I'm running the latest Version 1.5.5.60565,big pity as this is a great Mod  not too concerned about the loadout either, just great to have the aircraft as Ai........of course a loadout would be the creme. BTW Great skins Eddie....superb matey.
  8. Thanks razo+r you've cracked it,I deactivated the Modules and re ran the uploading of them again, all fixed  ...........can't thank you enough sir, much appreciated help. BTW for those interested, deactivating these modules does not mess up your saved control profiles for each aircraft,as Reflected was worried about, this was the one area I was worried about too,but all ok.
  9. Thank you razo+r this help is very appreciated, will try this and report back......Happy New Year.
  10. Yes thanks,I'm currently using the ' Create Fast Mission ' option so to avoid the issue arrising from something that I've created, this is a default Mission. Not sure what else to add really,I'm sorry to be a bit vacant on the info as I'm not sure what else I can tell you. Running Version 1.5.5.60565
  11. I'm getting this problem with all of my modules bar the Spit which I purchased a week ago, that's ok,but all my other modules are as Reflected's issue,on final window prior to flight I'm just left staring at the map. I have done a DCS repair which was successful,so all uptodate, all registrations ok,ticked, activated etc........just baffled. If anyone can assist me,I'd be very grateful, thanks. BTW....must add,I'm not running any cockpit mods.
  12. No problem Jocko....what i would say is,if anyone has any further picture references for Johnson's EN398,please feel free place on this thread
  13. Thanks Friedrich, this was really appreciated buddy, nice read
  14. Outstanding Jocko ,Rock is right,I hope ED uses this in core game too, this really is,with all respect far superior than the stock version. Are you, could you create both 'A' and 'B' camo schemes for us please ?......BTW,have put my request in too,for what it's worth in post #2's link, gotta support this.
  15. Superb Jocko.....BTW,are you going to skin both A and B blank camo schemes ?,as your blank looks terrific too, much nicer than the stock version
  16. A few more pic references :smilewink: The tiny serial number reads EN 398,camo scheme is ' A '. Close up of Green Maple Leaf decal
  17. +1 This would be great, please add this feature.
  18. Thanks for your advice Sokol .....this is very much appreciated buddy,I think I will go down the ' Joy To key ' route to alter my Saitek operation.
  19. Enjoying the new Spitfire IX,but I have one ask for the next patch........Devs,could we please have the ' Landing Gear Control Lever ' available with an Axis option,at present it is only available as a key bind or other control bind. The historical Spit landing gear lever is on a Axis, and it would be great for immersion to be able to assign this lever to an Axis. In Cliffs Of Dover iL2,you can assign an Axis to the Spitfire landing gear lever,so that you can assign a controller like the Saitek Throttle Quadrant to it,using one of the throttle levers to operate the landing gear,it makes the immersion so much more realistic IMO. Of course if there is a work around to get an Axis assigned to the Landing Gear Lever,it would be very much appreciated,
  20. Thanks Chuck, this is very much appreciated
  21. Thanks Rock.....this would be very much appreciated
  22. Skinners could someone please create this as a skin for the Spitfire IX,it's Johnny Johnson's Spitfire IX.
  23. Hawker Hunter for me,such an iconic, beautiful aircraft.
  24. I agree, this is a fantasic skin idea, the colours on this are superb, please will someone create this beauty
  25. Yes,I thought this might be the case, thanks for your reply,it was much appreciated.
