I have been watching a superb documentary on the 262. I didn't realise,that to get the tail up on take off,German pilots had to gently touch their brakes once the aircraft reached 120 mph.Once this was achieved,the tail would lift up off the ground and the aircraft would at this point take off.

This is still an issue,the Auto start works up until 'Ground Power'is requested and then it fails as no ground power is implemented into the Auto Start. *****PLEASE DEVS FIX THIS,SOMETIMES WE DO NOT WANT TO GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE START UP PROCEDURE***** If you are not going to fix it,please remove it from the controls list as it is a nuisance having non working controls listed,thanks,sorry to labour this point but it's very annoying ! All the other DCS modules Auto Starts work it's just the F86F that is porked.

Guys,would some very nice skinner create this skin for me please it's an Egyptian MiG-15 from the Six Day War 1967. There are two thin green lines on the wing tips of both wings,which are'nr very visible from my picture.....Thank you in advance :)

I too agree with Klem,look how clear and polished this 'Erk' (RAF ground crewman) has got this Spit's canopy to look. As Klem mentioned,clean canopies would've been the norm,surely,no way would you send a pilot up to combat with a grubby canopy.I knew I had this picture hiding in one of my books and this thread made me go searching for it.

Guys,I have a new PC with Windows 10 installed on it,......can I simply copy and paste both my Eagles main root folder and then my User/saved games/DCS folder into their relevant sections and fire up? I am not changing the monitor/keyboard or mouse,so I am hoping I can just do the above,obviously all of my sim hardware such as joystick/throttle and rudder pedals will have to be set upon the new PC. Any help or advice would be warmly appreciated,thank you :) PS New build as signature below.

Friedrich...........I am in not in a position to argue with you about this,as I was not around during the years 1943-44 to witness the said aircraft for myself,and I'm sure the red maple leaf was the most popular emblem with the Canadians. However,this was my thread,that I started,and the pictures given were how I would like my choice of Johnny Johnson's skin depicted,with a green maple leaf,and at the end of the day that's all it is,an aircraft skin for a PC simulator. I do not want to rewrite history here,and yes your information is useful,no one is denying that,but I rather think your taking this far too literally friend. This forum is for requesting skins,and all I am doing here is just that,requesting a Spitfire skin as the pictures depict.....simples :)
