  1. Yes that's the red one, just to show those interested the two aircraft that were generally used by Johnson,I have dug around my books and can now show you the two together. There's the one he used in 1943,we will call this the Green one,and the other one that he used in 1944,we'll call this the Red one,I hope these will explain the confusion over the Maple leaf emblems. These are going to make beautiful skins :)
  2. Lol......Yeah,I wasn't trying to intentionally to be culturally blind here,I had no intention I was upsetting the political correctness club
  3. Yes,thought as much Neil, but thank you for confirming this,I hate to miss a thing with this excellent module
  4. .........One word.........Excellent  And thanks again,CptTangerine,we appreciate all your effort fella.
  5. I know the Spit IX is still in development, but are we likely to see bombs added to it's armament in the near future,I haven't read or seen anything regarding this to date, but maybe I haven't been looking hard enough. As you can see from my picture below it took quite a payload, which was amazing for such a light aircraft IMO.
  6. I have been using this Mod for a few days now,and love it,I mean really love it......being an Englishman, this means a lot not having to have, with all respect,Yankee chatter in our beloved Spitfires, however,is there any way you could change the Leader's voice too CptTangerine ? An English speaking Leader's voice would be the icing on the cake. BTW may I take this opportunity in thanking you Sir for your excellent work
  7. Sad.....excellent skins ruined by a daft Bort number :doh:any chance of this getting fixed Bo please ?
  8. Ok,small issue, but the cheat or the Auto Start/stop is now in effective. If you decide to use it,it starts up to the point where the ground crew are called upon, for some reason there is a problem with this, and it's at this juncture where the Auto Start finishes without finishing it's procedure. Just thought I'd bring it to the devs attention.
  9. Hi Reflected, this is much appreciated buddy,I'll start sourcing some better pictures of where the decals were placed etc, unfortunately there are not that many pics of this around,so if anyone has better pictures, please feel free to upload them for us.
  10. Bump..........Would some fine skinner please recreate this,It would be very appretiated if you could, thank you.
  11. Thanks razo+r for confirming this,appreciated buddy.
  12. Guys,I can trim the stabilizer correctly for pitch,in fact it trims out superbly, but how does one trim for roll ?......I can't see a contol to acheive,this......probably it's staring me in the face ,but I can't see one, please help. I'm very new to the Dora 9,but have been enjoying it so much, thanks.
  13. Fantastic recreations JST....can we expect more Fw190's from your creativity.....please
  14. Wow..........stunning work :worthy:
  15. I would love to see this P-51D created for DCS it would make a great skin. P-51D THIS.IS.IT ! of the 352nd Fighter Group serial code M 414911 flown by Col Joe Mason The last picture although an old skin shows what was on the port side of the aircraft.
  16. PLEASE DELETE MODERATOR
  17. Excellent skins as always JST,may I take this oppotunity to thank you,I love your historical skins, your attention to detail is outstanding  Please keep up the great work Sir.
  18. Friedrich.....are you aware that there were a number of variants of Johnson's Spitfire IX with the code JE J ?.....because he was a Wing Commander he was entitled to sport his initials in the code. The Spitfire IX I have been uploading pic references for definitely sported the Green Maple leaf,it has been well documented, this was when he was OC of Kenley Wing during the Spring of 1943,however on later variants his Spitfire did sport the Red version. This is probably why you are questioning my references, his Spitfire IX which sported the D-Day black/white stripes had the Red Maple leaf for a start, and this is when he was OC with No 144 Wing stationed at Ford in June 1944,so there were different versions, with different Maple leaf emblems on,but all with JE J as the code.
  19. .....Mmm,that's what i have done,oh well,i shall have to investigate this further.......I expect it's my fault somewhere  Thanks for your trouble and time razo+r,it's much appreciated buddy
  20. Yeah, that's what i've done I discarded the Boeing B17-E/Mods/aircraft bit and added the Boeing B17-E folder that comes directly after the aircraft folder,I then added this into my main DCS/Mods/aircraft folder. This was a fresh install of DCS World as well,so I know it's not corrupted....just weird
  21. Could I ask you razo+r how you have implemented them, again, this does'nt work for me on version 1.5.5.60565 (the latest version).....sorry to be a pain.
  22. Thanks Hawkeye, this is very much appreciated......I will check these out and report back sir
  23. Yes....not working here either,I'm running the latest Version 1.5.5.60565,big pity as this is a great Mod  not too concerned about the loadout either, just great to have the aircraft as Ai........of course a loadout would be the creme. BTW Great skins Eddie....superb matey.
  24. Thanks razo+r you've cracked it,I deactivated the Modules and re ran the uploading of them again, all fixed  ...........can't thank you enough sir, much appreciated help. BTW for those interested, deactivating these modules does not mess up your saved control profiles for each aircraft,as Reflected was worried about, this was the one area I was worried about too,but all ok.
  25. Thank you razo+r this help is very appreciated, will try this and report back......Happy New Year.
