  1. Looking forward to the Mirage IIIC,I'd buy this in a heartbeat,I hope it's still on track RAZBAM.
  2. Your talking DCS 2 here aren't you ?as there hasn't been an update on 1.5 today to my knowledge.
  3. TBear,I am loving your Spitfire skins, the colours are PERFECT !.....would you consider creating this earlier version of Johnny Johnson's Spitfire for me,please ?,just love this version with the green maple leaf. Link : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179161
  4. No worries SkateZilla, that colour has been used for the F-86F speed brake internals from day one of it's release, but it is incorrect. Check the correct colour on this F-86F internal airframe, this is the colour it would've left the factory in,years later when all these icon aircraft were being restored they obviously didn't take much care what colour they painted them in.
  5. Thank you very much for the tutorial SkateZilla, this has been really appreciated,I just love that Huff skin. The Huff skin by Bo Nidle is superb,as is your excellent template Sir,one of the reasons I like Bo's skins is that, unlike many other F-86F skins,he really dials in the detail. For example,he has totally transformed the inside of those large speed brakes, putting in the correct detail behind the speed brake door, and ensuring the inside colour is the correct colour. F-86's that left the factory had internal colour of Olive Green, the same colour as the internal airframe, and not red as is depicted in the default skin/template,the red colour was obviously picked up by the original skin/template creator after seeing a restoration F-86 that has been well photographed on the web, which has it's speed brake bay painted red. Detail such as this, makes a good skin great IMO.
  6. Excellent work TBear, these are great additions to the Spit skin folder,I will definitely be using these masterpieces, thank you very much indeed Sir
  7. Excellent :D
  8. This is fantastic Jocko,....any chance you could do the same makeover to a version incorporating Invasion stripes please ? this would be warmly appreciated buddy
  9. I'm desparate for some better pics of that nose art if anyone can help,my friend Reflected has kindly agreed to do this, but we need much better high definition pics of the nose art, especially the figure........so,is there anybody out there that can assist us please ?,thanks.
  10. Thanks NW,it's nice to know all is well with the Jug,appreciate the confirmation
  11. Yes,what's happening about our jug,I thought it was pretty much completed once upon a time, what happened to it's materialization ?
  12. Gents I am requesting a rarely known P-51D skin, please,it's that of 'The Count' B6*Y 414977 363rd FS of the 357th FG,flown by Lt.Carroll W.Ofshun. Here's what I have so far,but if anyone has any better photos or pictures please feel free to upload on this thread,I would be really appreciate it guys. The last two pictures are from the A2A Simulation,of which I am sorry to use/show on here, but they show the Count done as a skin and I don't have many other pictures to show,so I hope I will be excused.
  13. Excellent work, can't wait for this.
  14. Oh Santus superb !......thank you very much kind Sir,looks stunning, can't wait to try this,God we're lucky having you talented skinners on board within DCS
  15. Agreed, you are a genius Reflected.however, not only are you a very talented genius, you are also a gentleman...........and there are not many of us left:lol: Great work Sir
  16. Beautiful !!!!.... Reflected, absolutely superb,I can't thank you enough for creating this stunner of a skin......you are indeed a very talented craftsman my friend. Thank you soooo much buddy
  17. Thanks for clearing that one up Solty,I knew what we had wasn't the regular European Theatre model in game and just googled P-51 models and the ones that came up with the two aerials were named as P-51 H's. However your explanation is far more precise, and after googling that model,I can see that it is the one we have, thanks very much buddy
  18. This is not a whine or a moan,I'm purely just interested, but, why have we got a P-51H modelled in DCS and not a P-51D ?.....as it's obviously masquerading as ? For those not in the know, the P-51H has the two aerial masts on the back, the P-51D has only the one :)
  19. After researching this skin a little more closer I notice that there were two different coloured crickets depicted in the nose art. On the one that I have requested 414223,the cricket is green as per my nose art pic in the first post, however on a later version of KATYDID the one with the lime green tail 47222,the cricket is dark and it's wing is a lighter blue, see profile pic(As per your large nose/cowling pic Reflected) Also on this later version the top of the anti glare panel (top of nose)was navy blue where as the version that I've requested is olive drab green in colour to the top of the anti glare panel. Below shows the later different version of KATYDID serial 472227 which shows the navy blue anti glare panel and the blue cricket/katydid,this is the version thar Aeroshell created.
  20. Oh yes,I loved the skin you created for me last time 'This Is It !'....that was a beauty Reflected. Your profile shows the correct colour of the tail green too, excellent profile picture buddy, however the large nose/cowling picture you have there is of a later/different version, that's from the lime green tailed version, not the dark green tailed version. This is going to be another stunner, thank you so much for doing this Reflected  PS I loved your bare metal colour/finish on 'This Is It ! ' too, that again was perfect. Just out of interest I notice on my actual B/W pic of the real aircraft the three, four figure numbers around the 'cricket figure'are 4223 yet on your cowling pic the numbers are different,I wonder what they represent ? *EDIT* BTW I have solved the nose art numbers query in this thread,The numbers around the cricket are the serial numbers of the two versions of KATYDID. So 41(4223) and 47(2227) respectively. :)
  21. I know the later version of this skin has been created by Aeroshell, although his beautiful skin now requires updating after the DCS updates, but I would like this earlier version created if it's possible. I would point out the dark tail is in fact a very dark green and not black as it appears in my profile 1st picture.I have also added the nose art and pilots name details that were on the bottom of the cockpit canopy. The pilot Lt Col Righetti's story is a very tragic one,and it capitivated me when I read about it. *Nose Art : KATYDID applied to both Port and Starboard sides, although the cricket/katydid was only applied on the Port side *Pilot and Ground crew data strip: Only applied to Port side *Detail of kill markings for KATYDID version serial 414223,he had nine kill markings on 414223,and these were only applied on the Port side. *The below picture confirms that no black anti-slip strips were applied to the wing roots,so they were bare metal. Just a small tribute to the pilot Lt.Col Elwyn G.Righetti C/O of 55th Fighter Group *The bottom 3 pics show that KATYDID 414223 did not have the black anti-slip marks on the wing roots.
  22. Thanks CHSubZero, yes I've already got that one and it's superb, however I just particularly like this one with the two red bands on the tail, and the FA code :smilewink:
  23. I would love to see one of these early era USAF bare metal skins created if someone skilled enough has the time, just love this look.
  24. All that hard work paid off Reflected.....that mate,is a superb skin, stunning, thank you very much
  25. Oh yes now we're talking, would love to have the Typhoon created for DCS with all the same detailing as the other modules,I'd buy it
