  3. It is very good. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  4. I'm so impressed with pointctrl, I don't want anyone to miss out on it. If you're using a mouse still you need tell me why. The thread is over in the input and output section. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  5. I use a simple voice recorder in va, as the coordinates are read out I repeat and record. Then just play back at my leisure. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=268094&page=2 Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  6. It took me a while to stop the Elvis move. A-10c start up video. I know I probably do it wrong ..
  7. Hi It's a universal VR sim pit. Nice and simple
  8. Short video showing my plywood cockpit in action.
  9. I've found that the board is out of alignment if I haven’t quite got my vr position set exactly, after a few clicks resetting vr position, looking in the right direction I can get it constantly set up and board aligned. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  10. Many thanks for that. I'm all set up. It took a bit of figuring out as I don't really use voice attack much. I couldn't work out why my joystick wouldn't work in game but would when focused on VA. I had to change a setting. Now it's all good.
  11. Thanks, I've had a look at your profile. If I wanted to get this working on a standard install of voice attack, would I need to do anything apart from setting up my Hotas as in point 7? Cheers Andrew I've loaded it up and all seems to work OK, however when I start recording I can't stop it and I'm unsure which value to change.
  12. I thought about recalibrating to make it work perfectly but decided not to. I think the key with it is to be able to adjust the board a bit each time. I'm still finding it's working really well for me. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  13. Did you get the voice recorder working? Any chance of sharing your profile?
  14. Here it is https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=229077&page=5 at the bottom of the page. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3760088&postcount=50 You may need to position the cursor if you are using VR to Focus the scratch pad. Have a look at the post where I show you how to do that if you don't know. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4268382&postcount=178 I found the dictation mode worked well with a bit of training.
  15. I tried to get it working in DCS and didn't have success. The phone solution may be better and the dictation in Scratch pad.
  16. Today I stuck my thrustmaster Mfds to the board to see if it added to it. It didn't. I took them off. I also have ply on my arm rests and starting up the the A10c feel very natural. I'd like to do a split screen video of my hand movements next to the cockpit view to see how they interact. But my kids think I'm odd enough sitting in a chair surrounded by plywood with lunch box on my head. They'd really cringe with embarrassment if I put that on YouTube. 17. On a squadron mission, the flight leader reads out coordinates, in vr I'm trying to write them down and then inputting in to cdu. It requires writing and peaking through headset. When I read back coordinates to flight leader and record at the same time, I can then input later with audio when I'm looking at cdu. I'm hoping it will save looking through the nose gap at my scribble. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  18. It looks like this Voice attack profile will work. I've not had a chance to try it out in game, but just in VA it does the above. I'm going to map the start, stop and playback to hotas buttons. https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=1959.0),
  19. Is it possible to add a delay to cockpit buttons? I use pointctrl to manipulate the cockpit, and last night I jettisoned all stores halfway through a mission while programming dsms. I wondered if it was possible to make the jettison button a click and hold for maybe a second. After all it has a guard around it in real life but not in a clickable cockpit. 20. Hi, I'm using Chic's profile with Occulus rift. I'm struggling to get the cursor to focus on the pad. The cursor appears in the centre of the screen and I can manually move it sometimes but not very often. I have my scratch pad top left, how would I make my cursor appear there? Cheers Andrew After 5 min of looking it turns out it's all very simple, but I'll leave this here in case anyone's looking. Run DCS and jump in cockpit and open scratch pad. (do this out of VR) In VAttack open profile, edit scratch pad focus. Enter new mouse position using the Mouse Tab to the left, click application window coordinates button and set position (top right), Press F8 and save. All simple. And thank you Chic, I'm enjoying your profile and N96 for scratch pad. VoiceAttackHelp.pdf
  21. Think of it like a drawing board and a felt tip pen. Much easier to write on a piece paper if it's on the board than if the paper is floating in the air. You don't push on the board, it's just there. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  22. Many thanks, I'll try Discord, like you I'm sure it can be done. I was trying to work out the command to start Voice recorder than access the files to play back. But to be honest that's all beyond me. I've posted in Discord, with any luck I'll be able to come back to you all with a profile or something of some kind.
  23. Hi, I'm trying to work out how to record my voice and then playback audio file. Like an audio memo / scratch pad using Voice attack. I know you can dictate to scratch pad and get that to play back. But I'd like to skip the interpretation of what I said and just listen to my own recording. Would be great if you could say: "record" Blahh Blaah "stop record" Then access file and play back: "play blahh blahh" or "play recording 1" I'm just thinking while I have my head in CDU I wouldn't need to look up etc. If anyone has any idea's it would be really appreciated, I've had a look but can't find anything this specific. Cheers Andrew
  24. I'm pretty pleased I've had a good idea. It feels so much better with a board.
  25. Lets face it, those playing DCS are probably the safest and most responsible! Why would you want to go outside when you can virtually, and with colourful keyboards as well!
