  1. Cheers for that. It just goes to show that you should always read through the documentation. I basically installed all of the wrong stuff. Aviators for dcs and the correct sound module is needed. I had a bit of help from Andre which was pretty nice, seeing as it's the weekend and new codes all sorted. Cheers Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  2. Hi, I'm having problems getting bass shakers working in dcs. I have Sim shaker Wings and the bass shaker add on. Just to clarify to see what I'm doing wrong. Click desktop icon to start sim shaker launcher click manual start (have checked auto start but no difference) SSH Wings general settings. Bass shaker checked. Test works, I feel vibration.. DCS starts but no SSW vibration and I'm not sure it's connected to DCS Firewall enabled I'm using a USB sound card, is dcs exporting to this? Do I need to add DCS startup to anything? Cheers Andrew
  3. The amp comes with it? I wish I'd seen this last week. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  4. Hi I'm about to wire up my 4 shakers, would you recommend stereo or mono, I'll be adding a jetseat in 11 weeks. Cheers Andrew Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  5. That's pretty cool, from 1994. I'd never heard of it before. There's several on ebay, what size is the transducer? Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  6. I've bought 2 transducers and amp, usb sc, just waiting for the rest of the cables to arrive. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  7. Another great build and video, cheers, bit all looks possible. I just need some time.... Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  8. I believe so. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  9. I've ordered the jetseat, but while I'm waiting, I'm making a bass shaker from an old speaker and amp. Very easy to do (apparently). Just run of a USB sound card. Bass shaker and jetseat work well together. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  10. Excellent, I'll have a go at this while I'm waiting for my Jetseat. Cheers
  11. Ordered yesterday, having only discovered this was an actual thing yesterday morning:doh: Obviously I'm pretty excited. While I wait for delivery I'm thinking of adding a bass shaker to my chair. Again I only found out about these yesterday too. Does anyone else use this and the jetseat? I've been reading through the forum and trying to find stuff on you tube. Apart form an amp and bass shakers what else would I need to do? Installed Sim Shaker wings, all very smooth. Do I need another program? Cheers Andrew
  12. That's pretty impressive! I'm pretty intrigued by all of this. I absolutely love the wooden look. We need a mosquito or hurricane in dcs to go with it! So yours is different as you don't have legs coming up and down. Where's the best place to start reading up on alternative designs? Thanks for posting, I enjoyed the videos. 13. I'll be jumping on the diy one when it's ready. Good luck with it, looks absolutely great and I'm surprised how reasonable in price it is. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  14. Cheers I read up on the fan placement etc. But found it ran really cool without the sides. And to clean it every now and again I'll use a leaf blower! It's also so much more quiet as the only fans going are cpu and graphics card. And if it does get warm ill use an 18" fan which will also do my feet. Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  15. Sorted out my cooling problems!
  16. I've tried searching for JetSeat, any chance you can point me in the right direction where I can buy it?
  17. Thanks for posting. First time I've seen this, looks fantastic. The Bergisons videos on his website are great. Wmacky what's the cost in time and money to get to where you are? Both are in shortish supply but I suppose that's all relative. Please keep posting as I'm very intrigued.
  18. Much nicer. Sweeter as it was a free upgrade. I was wondering how I could get a new machine on the business... I'll think of that for later in the year. I think it must be at least 15%. Nice card Alicatt, I hope you get it all sorted.
  19. Hi Last number was 275 I'm 276..... We're imminent. Unless you're in Australia via Canada! Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  20. [quote I found this guide specifically for 4790K, he uses a Gigabyte motherboard/BIOS. https://www.tweaktown.com/guides/6486/intel-4790k-devil-s-canyon-s-spec-sr219-cpu-overclocking-report/index.html Thanks for all of the info. After reading that I'm pretty pleased with my 4.7 and think I'll leave it at that.
  21. Just had a DCS mission. Package temp peaked at 69 with CPU utilisation at 52%, I suppose that's it running on just 2 cores.
  22. Hi Juice, It's happily running at 4.7ghz. I had the machine custom built in 2015 and had a Super Quiet 22dBA Triple Copper Heatpipe Intel CPU Cooler fitted then and it seems still up to the job. I get a large build up of heat in the case, so I'm experimenting with ways of removing that. Running without the sides on certainly does that. I've bought a couple of 120 fans that I was going to mount on the side to suck and push air in. But of course I've read to see what the internet says about fan placement, lots of words, 90% contradictory. So until I'm ready to start cutting holes I'm going to leave her undressed. But I'm happy to say, all seems very stable at 4.7ghz. Not too sure what temps are with DCS I'll take a look and get back to you. I didn't take the GPU overclocking any further and just decided to concentrate on flying!:smilewink:
  23. I'm running my pc without side panels now. I've bought a couple of fans for later if I want to put the side panels back on. Do you have any info on upping the 2 core overclock? I've had a look at the Internet, but there are so many different opinions out there I'm a little confused. Tried overclocking gpu with little success. Pc OK but dcs crashed after a couple of hours. 24. Thanks, I'm very similar. I'm up to 4.7 now and I'm amazed the difference it's made and how simple it was. I'm looking at overclocking the gpu now. I probably shouldn't as it runs so well now. What's great as I nearly spent all that money! Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
  25. Got the processor running at 4.6 so thanks very much.
