Did you actually see wear on these items you mentioned or do you just think they will wear out there and thats why you did the mods?
Are you really jamming on the pedals? It doesn't seem like there is much force during normal use to do so much wearing. How long have you been using the Simped's?
I think DHS only sells the Simped's direct from Germany. They most likely just recently went out of stock because of all the Warthog stuff going on. You can email Hoffman and see if he has more being produced.
I was also looking into the Saitek combat pedals. I decided to go with the Simped's as they have contact-less Hall effect sensors versus mechanical POTS. Plus the Simped's look like they are spaced apart more aligned with your hips.
Is "Tonka" suppose to be a Tornado? What a stupid nickname. Must be a Brit thing.
Tornado is a good air-ground aircraft but I don't think it was particularly good at air-air.
This meets all your requirements and is currently the best "affordable" pedals for flight sims.

That is the problem though, it uses multi-core to a very small degree. The main simulation thread is still limited to one CPU in which this sim hit's the ceiling on even the fastest processors extremely quickly.
If your using a 32 bit operating system I am pretty sure it automatically installs the 32bit version, hence no check box. If you are using a 64-bit OS, you then have the check box because it would only apply to you.
Has anyone considered that ED doesn't even have a plan for a next module? A-10C came about because they had highly accurate information from the US Air Force Reserve/Guard. If ED doesn't have in depth info or a new sim contract that grants them access, they really can't make a new DCS module yet in the fidelity needed. All I know is A-10C will keep me busy for a long time!
My custom built computer, 3x 30" LCD's for this sim title with Hotas Warthog and Simped's cost me about $8000. I think $60 for the software is a fair price. ;)
Man, this manual is a beast! I let her rip on the large copy machine/printer at work while no one was looking. Printed it out two sided and two .pdf pages per printed page and the thing is still almost 3 cm thick! ton's of reading to do.
You must not be very good at using Google. :megalol: The warthog hotas has been on plenty of resellers pre-order lists for months now. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=hotas+warthog&hl=en&cid=13514028465026527545&ei=zquuTIvbJqaEygXqrJ2lBg&sa=button&ved=0CAkQgggwADgA#scoring=p
I know quite a few of us on the board have the pre-order here: http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop/shop.cgi?action=enter&thispage=01100450100_BDE6442P.shtml&order_id=!ORDERID!
They still have plenty of pre-order slots left. I have ordered from BLT before and they were great.
Anyone else getting just terrible screen tearing? I usually don't get this bad of screen tearing in other games. Only way I could stop A-10C from seriously screen tearing was to turn v-sync on which add's unwanted input lag.
