I think it would be extremely cool to add a camera angle not possible into BS. I think it will need just a little updating of the pilot so he/she looks better but i think it would be it would be worthwhile to have a shot like you see from the backseat cameras in the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds. This shot (i dont know the name if there is one) would be as if there is a camera sitting on top of the HUD and looking back at the pilot. I think something like this would be cool for videos, and maybe/possibly realistic considering that to my knowledge a pilot can veiw the vid on one of his tv's as it records. So he could see if there is an aircraft behind him, whithout have to look back. That might me easier than those stupid mirrors... Anyway just an idea that i thought would be reasonble to ask for in BS.

if i understand, this is funneling effect is easy to do in battlefield 2, but before anyone has to correct me battlefield 2 IS highly unrealstic and extremely basic flight modeling.

No, i guess i wasnt specific enough. I know how to change the legs of the pilot. Can anyone tell me what file you use to change the color of the pilot and mess around with it so he looks different when he parachutes. I want to know which file it is...

I have always wanted to change the pilots suit color and mess around with the image. Which one is it, or better to say how do i go about modifying it?

not to start a flame war here, but i think poeple misunderstood redhammer because of his numerous grammar errors. I think we misunderstood him and vise versa. IMHO people shouldnt interpret text all the time, becuase we cant hear a persons expression on the screen. my2cents

I never new you could earn medals within an online squadron, but all it takes to earn the medals is a certain amount of flight time without dying. So you dont have to worry about number of kills, accuracy, time spend...

Just for the record that i have no insider info, I really dont think BS is being geared to fix that. I havent heard anything from them about updating that, and to my knowledge it isnt very high on the todem pole. Granted it is something that needs to be looked at, but from my point of veiw I dont think it will be. Anyway, this is just one of the things many wish could be redone.

Can i ask, where can i get 3ds Max 7? (or whatever you make models with in Lockon. Just to ask, are there any other programs for modeling worth getting out there?

Did a little searching on my own and could find a tutor for lockon. There wasnt even any files in the Lockon Modern Air Combat AVsim Library. I am assuming the guy who posted the pics was talking about the lockon bird. (Mabye, that definitly looks like lockon, but i have never seen those pics) I also believe the one that the other guy claimed to have found was one for Falcon 4.0 or MSFS. I could be wrong, but i surely coudnt find it...

WAFM- I think it is weapons advanced flight modeling, which is partially incoporated into FC, and will be in BS on most if not all weapons. Of the ones listed and not explained i dont know what ATM is... I think you thingy you were talking about was a collective, acts like the throttle on a fixed wing aircraft but is instead in a heli. You dont have to have one to play BS, but like a track IR or hotas it is something that might be helpful/realistic/fun. I depends on what you want and what you can afford. Urze is planning on releasing one when BS comes out that will fit onto the x52,x45,Cougar just to name a few. I have never used one, but i think it will be worth the money and looks fun.
