Qualified guess? Within 2 weeks considering the Steam date and considering all the promo videos that are already popping up. I think they want to release it while the promo videos are still "fresh", I know I would. Otherwise the buzz might drop a bit. One thing is almost "certain", it will be out sooner rather than later.

To be fair, some people like their cockpits fresh and clean yeah. Personally I like the weathered look, especially in a vintage fighter. I think it is a bit too much to ask the devs to make a "clean" cockpit at this point in time. Still, try to show some tolerance to other peoples opinions and preferences, your own opinion isn't LAW.

I wish that they would've put most of their resources on the MiG-21. The Sabre and Dora are "in-between planes" I get after I'm a bit bored of the MiG-21 whilst waiting for the next big thing. Dora is on the bottom of my DCS to buy list, no offence to the developers.

Yeah, that's just crazy talk, they need to space out the releases otherwise the modules will take sales away from each other. I'm not the type that just buys everything they release, I primarily buy what I REALLY want and then later when I feel like buying something new I get that other plane/helo on my list. Example, even though the Dora has a pre-purchase discount AND I have a 70% discount voucher, I'm still not gonna buy it. Why? well, I'm not interested in DCS: WWII yet because there are way too many pieces missing for that to be any fun to play. P-51 vs Dora in modern day Georgia and/-or Nevada? no thanks. MiG-21 ftw! (sorry if I went off-track a bit there:D)

Well, at least it's in ED's hands now so there won't be any more MAJOR delays but I wouldn't tap that F5 too much just yet. It's gonna be in 1.3.0, sure as shooting! ;p

Good news! I have a related question, since there are a lot of different munitions and loadouts that many of us aren't familiar with, will there be some short information about them in the manual or in the DCS encyclopaedia maybe? Trevlig midsommar!:)

I agree, I'm getting some serious FSX fatigue atm. Haven't touched X-Plane 10 in a while now and I'm not really interested in getting back to it. I built a 1/100 MiG-21 scale model back in November 2012, I remember asking Beczl specifically if anything would prevent the MiG-21 to be released before 2013. He basically said no, no such delays were expected. Being a somewhat sane person I "stopped waiting" for the MiG-21 and occupied myself with civilian flightsims but man! if it weren't for the a2a accu-sim and Orbx stuff I'd be bored to tears by now. So, no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with asking over and over again when or how the MiG-21bis will be released, not at this point. I've actually started playing videogames again! Assassin's Creed IV, Watch_Dogs and Rome II ftw!:thumbup:

Yeah, these sales are "useless" for me since I already have all the modules (except Combined arms that doesn't interest me) and there's only one I want to play right now.

Wow! That's awesome, I hope someone makes that skin when the MiG is released. Amazing detailing.

Also, the atmospheric scattering is quite a big giveaway that it is indeed the EDGE engine. Looks absolutely fantastic.
