  1. Thanks for the PM, I hope the answer arrived, it´s the first I sent here and I can´t find any sent message now. Oh and pretty pretty please release the "haulin´trash" mission, even if it might not be perfect in your eyes. I´m sure it will still be great !
  2. I just had a chance to fly a bit and tried this. I encountered a problem: My first task was to transport an officer to a night club. Pickup went good, but at the drop-off LZ nothing happened, although I skidded to within 0 meters of the LZ. It was task 7 LZ 13. Second try was extracting a patrol at LZ 3, I landed at the crossroads and was rammed by an obviously blind civilian driver, rofl. Funny thing is, the last mission I played, "zero dark thirty" by wess24m, the same thing happened to an AI Blackhawk. I should really turn those Civvies off ;-)
  3. I just tried this, whew, really hard to stay with the Blackhawk...But he flies a lot nicer then the huey in the UN-campaign mission 6 ! While playing this I noticed for the first time that all those georgian civilians are driving around without their headlights on at night...bunch of lunatics, lol... I encountered a problem: Thanks again for your work ! Wolf
  4. Now that you mention it, I´ve played those missions in ArmaII and they were great ! Unforgotten how I had to get out of the Chinook I think it was and had to repair it under enemy fire at the first or second LZ. Great stuff ! I hope I can try this one today. Thanks for your work !
  5. Sounds like this is going to be one great mission ! Looking forward to it !
  6. Thank you !
  7. How do you fast forward when viewing a track ? Didn´t know this was possible...
  8. Sounds great ! I'm sure I'll like every mission you make ,so far one was even greater than the other !
  9. To tell the truth, I'd have no problem with that from time to time. Combined with the music and mayyybeee some voice chatter from the crew mixed in (roughly quotes from the book ?) that would be fun for me, I like "ass 'n' trash" :pilotfly: :) Edit: Mabe if it's a mission with not so long flights in one piece, you know, have several landings/sorties in one mission. Start after dropping off some troops, then have to do a medivac, then transport this and that...
  10. Oooohhh yes !!!
  11. I have my old x45 fixed on a board where I sit on with my upper legs when flying.
  12. Absolutely great mission again, I loved it ! Thank you so much for all your work ! I hope I can play "Zero dark thirty" too tonight. When the woman falls asleep on the couch...:smilewink:
  13. Great mission, really enjoyed it ! Thank you ! I messed up the triggers a bit as I (don´t want to spoil to much for people not having flown it) did my job a little too fast before the grunts were ready to do theirs, but it all worked out well. Keep ´em great missions coming ! I really love flying "ass ´n´ trash" !
  14. Well, I managed to take off but with a lot of low rpm howling, same with landing later to drop my troops but had a stupid "didn´t pay attention"-crash a little later. Running takeoff wasn´t really possible as the farp is really crowded in that mission. I can´t check the starting altitude now, but you start at the standard campaign farp at Kutaisi. It was mainly that the briefing was confusing me, probably just me misunderstanding it.
  15. Yeah, I would like that too ! And when that smoke would move with the wind to give you the wind direction like the white smoke from the chimneys and not just stand straight up like the smoke markers in mission that would be even better !
  16. That makes sense so far, but my twist-grip throttle is already maxed out with the normal starting procedure. How can I use that to further increase the rpm ? Maybe it´s just a language problem combined with me being tired and stupid :-/ That briefing is confusing me ;-) Perhaps someone who already did that mission can describe exactly what he did ?
  17. Hi all, I just tried the campaign mission "Patrols". At the beginning I´m told that as the bird is so heavy I´m supposed to set the governor switch to manual, then increase rpm, take off, then set governor to auto again. Same for landing. Well, it didn´t work. As the governor switch has "Auto" and "Emer(gency)" I suppose that by "manual" the "emer" setting is ment. I set the triangular switch to the "emer"-setting and used the button mapped to increase turbine rpm on my throttle but nothing happened. I tried decrease turbine rpm (saw the switch move on the collective in game in both cases) and nothing happened. Then I set the triangular switch to "auto" again and then the turbine rpm increase/decrease worked. Now, isn´t that the wrong way around ?!? I tested in the mission editor with the same results: Triangular governor switch "emer" (down, broad side of the triangel), yellow warning light comes on, but no effect of turbine rpm decr/incr. Triangular switch to "Auto" (up, "pointy side"), turbine decr/incr works. If I change the rpm with the switch in the auto setting, like lowering so much the low rpm warning comes on and then switch to "emer", the rpm comes back up. Switch to "Auto" again, rpm goes down... Is there something wrong or am I being completely stupid ? I really don´t know which is the case...
  18. Hi, first thank you so much for this Huey Belsimtek, a dream since earliest C116 and C64 times finally came true! Absolutely outstanding work ! Now on topic: I encountered a weird problem in the second UN-Campaign mission: After mission start, without moving the chopper I went to F2-view and without changing the camera angle I turned on the anti-collision light (the red one on top). Exact steps were: Start mission, turn off yellow text, center TrackIr, zoom neutral, F2, a-c light on. After about half a rotation of the light my screen went white, the sound stopped and my PC stopped responding completely, had to do a hardware-reset. I tested this several times with the same results. Then I started up the mission but turned the camera to the other side of the chopper and then turned on the anti-collision light. The screen went white again, but the sound stayed on, but somewhat "stuttery", then after some seconds the screen turned black, then the sim was back, but with fps in the single-digit area. Turning the anti-collision light on and off changed nothing then, no more white screens but still extremely low fps. Then I went to the mission editor and tested with various aircraft skins on airports as well as farps in different camera angels: No problem with the anti collision light. I then started the second campaign mission again -> F2 -> light on -> "White screen of Death"... :alien: Now I´ve no idea if this is a problem with my computer or with the sim, maybe some special combination of light settings (early morning) and skin and lights or whatever, but I thought I´d post it here... My PC is a i7-3770 with 16GB, Win8 64, GeForce GTX 660 Ti Greets, Wolf
  19. I just tried your mission and flying with the music in the headphones was great ! Somehow it all worked a lot better, I touched down on the farp and landed home safely, well with a few bullet holes in the windscreen. :-D Thank god I was flying right seat, my buddy on the left side apparently came close to getting it ;-) I think maybe the music helps in "thinking less" and more flying by "feeling". Usually I either crash on landing or I´m parking my Baby not really where I planned to... There should be an option in the game menu to just click "radio on frequency xyz" and you give a filepath to your music folder so you can listen to your favorite flying songs regardless if it was put in the mission by the maker or not, that would be great ! Or maybe the ability to tune in to some online radio station the same way lol. Anyways, thanks for your mission, I enjoyed it !
  20. I just did that mission, you´re right, it was great ! Now for the funny part: I was about to land, just before the "Dancing Huey" part when suddenly the second one of the two hinds appeared in front of me from the left. This startled me and I did some "reflex"-movements with all the controls to avoid crashing into it, the only thing I remember was yanking back on the stick, and this wild yanking somehow put me in a relatively nice hover just in front of the pad and I managed to settle her down on the H without damages !:clap_2: Thanks, unknown AI Hind pilot, you saved the day ! Now I just need you to be there just in time everytime I want to land :smilewink: After the good experience with using the trim for takeoff as roiegat described I use the force trim thingy much more often, and it helps.
  21. This one helped me so much !! Thank you  I just managed something somehow resembling a hover ! (Rudders not trimmed but set a more aggressive curve) The hardest part for me now is landing, especially the transition from forward flight to hover, it always ends in "The Crazy Dancing Huey Show"
  22. 30-60 KB/s... :-(
  23. Auto Update is running ! edit: no, it´s not: Can´t download object - some filename - hash mismatch... ?!? edit2: Now it works ! Sorry for the confusion, I´m like a little boy at christmas ;-)
  24. Oh hallelujah I finally remembered my password ! And it´s such a stupid one ! I was almost close to tears when I couldn´t remember it and the password reset wouldn´t work... Okay now ED and Belsimtek, I´m ready, you can activate the auto updater and the buy button now ;-) And I have to fly (or better crash) this evening as the next days I probably can´t, roe buck season opens tomorrow.
  25. Thanks ! Now if I could only remember that password...Resetting it doesn´t work, it says "Control string and your registration information has just been sent to your E-mail address. Please wait for the email. Note that the check word is re-generated on each request." but I don´t get a mail... Aahrgh, the Mother of all chopper sims is near and I won´t be able to fly :cry:
