Well it did take an awful lot of practice with the A-10 eventually had around 170 full refuels before I stopped flying it (slew control packed in on the warthog throttle) so will see how much practice the Mirage needs!

I tried it both in 1.5.3 and 2.0 with the same results. So in the mission editor when you change the speed- is that enroute speed or the tanking speed? It's just crap that the tanker slams on the anchors back to 220kts if you lose contact by being out of range and have to recontact again before gradually speeding back up. Not sure if that's a bug or what. Hope it can get fixed though, I remember the a2a refuelling with the A-10c had issues for quite some time.

This is so difficult. 1. How do you switch off the landing gear alarm? 2. When I make precontact the S-3 goes from 220 to 350 knots so by the time I've caught up again to try and dock with the probe I get a warning to pre-contact again then the S-3 slows back down to 220 again making me overshoot by a mile! On so it goes on and on. Never have managed to get put the thing in the thing. I was fine with the A-10C Any help and tips please. Ta

Remember Newton's third law - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction so when the cannons are fired the slight downward projection of shells it will indeed cause the nose to pitch up

Actually the rudder is still there - just the rest of the vertical stabiliser isn't!

I thought 1.5.2 WAS the beta version. Is this now the release version?. I can't keep up. Honestly!

When I try to update my 1.5.2xxx it just says it is up to date!

How can I mount collective to Office chair?
mr_mojo97 replied to Cowboy10uk's topic in Home Cockpits
You should easily be able to make a box (like a kitchen drawer but wider) out of 12mm mdf stand it in end then screw your collective on it. If you don't want to screw the box to the floor you could always put a breeze block in it. That'll be heavy enough so the collective won't move. A bit crude but it'll be fine. Otherwise depends on the fitting of the collective and the style of the office chair would depend on how it could be attached. Or another idea, I bougt a couple of black £5 square ikea tables - about 18"" square. And screwed all my a-10c panels to them (one ever side). The perfect height for my office chair and they're easy to move too -

Aybody have a set of Rudder Pedals for sale
mr_mojo97 replied to lone82's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Obviously you're being sarcastic, but I had my saitek combats for 4 years without any issue in tracking. My issue was only I'd been to the beach without wiping my feet coming back in one day and ended up with sand in the pedals. Ending up with an awful grinding noise! So I bought some MFG's. Get them for free mate plus shipping. Bargain at half the price! -
i think Leo Bodnar in the uk sells something similar, or at least used to (different knobs though) but samer principle. check his website out

VAICOM 2.0 for VoiceAttack
mr_mojo97 replied to Hollywood_315's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Dudikoff, I noticed this the other day too - going to the VA webpage when pressing the comms switch in the throttle. It was because I had Firefox in the background while flying a mission. Simply closing down Firefox stopped it. -
VAICOM 2.0 for VoiceAttack
mr_mojo97 replied to Hollywood_315's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh after just spending three days getting my VA to work I've just gone and dropped my damn throttle on the floor and broke the friggin comms hat switch off. Blub blub, boo hoo. And my slew switch no longer works. And the post office is gonna charge me £40 just to send it back to France for repair at TM. -
I presume that poxilina is the same as polymorph on ebay. Its very good and easy to use, and good for making loads of stuff. I made my car phone holder from it a while ago. did the job well

Is this ever likely to be mappable? It doesn't show in the list for binding. Ta

So, err, where you have "Maverick" printed on the clip could surely be replaced by ones own call sign easily enough, I guess? :music_whistling:

Warthog slew control replacement part
mr_mojo97 replied to hegykc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Mine died too recently. But only after my main board died!!!!!!! Once Hegykc's new joystck and throttle bases are selling, I'll be ditching the warthog and buying his gear. For the price of what I'll get for my warthog I may be able to get his gear and a couple of joystcks (maybe!) -
