Although I've completed the mission (must have been luck!) I've found it very difficult to find the L-39 around Kutaisi. The awacs only occasionally repsonds to give me directions but I still can't find it on my radar (obviously more training is required on this). Any advice for when I do it again? Thanks

TER - Triple Ejector Rack is a system on one pylon for carrying 3 x weapons so in the A-10c you could carry TERs with mavericks or 500lb bombs on pylons 3,5,7 and 9

Sat in a Harrier GR9 at RAF Leuchars air show which was awesome. Had a stroll round the back of a Chinook at the same air show. Also been in a Vulcan at Carlisle airport

Yep, already done that. Funnily enough, I can't get the Mirage ATC working at all- keep getting the Invalid radio error - UNLESS I do it with another profile first. Then it works faultlessly. Wish I didn't have to do that though as it's rather annoying.

Nobody having any issues?

So I finally had this working just as it should yesterday - all day in fact. Come to boot up today and everything but the atc work and only in 2.0 - 1.5 doesn't work at all. Am I supposed to save something somewhere? Just keep getting the ATC not selected message. Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks all. I've decided on an i5 7600k with an MSI M5 z270 and got 16 gb Crucial Ballistix ddr4 and a Bequiet 240mm AIO cooler and I'll try and oc it to around 4.7-4.8 mark. The cash is there for something so I may as well splash out!!

I only play this, elite dangerous and Assetto Corsa and general pottering about on the internet, dvd's etc. So is it worth it going from a 2500k to 7700k (with a z270 of course)? Cheers

VEAO got it much better with the hawk nav lighting. But yeah, I hope 2.5 will bring better external aircraft lighting in general.

Yeah I had an electrical spike a couple of years ago - wrecked my TM throttle main board (and slew control), 2 Leo bodnar X boards and my G27 wheel main board - all were plugged into a powered adaptor (which also fried). TM were really good- I had to pay about £95 I think plus postage for the main board and that fixed all but the slew control - they sent me a switch for £15 but it didn't work so I presume it was the board in the throttle grip that's bust but they wanted another 35 for that. I've not flown the hog since. Anyways I found them helpful and quick to despatch, about a week or so from phone call to delivery to the UK. Hope that helps
