Odd, I hadn't seen that before, but hadn't really been looking for that exactly. Thanks! Now if we could get the empty rocket pod...
-
I wasn't. I only see where you can select 1 Hellfire, not empty. Totally empty would allow those servers to at least let us look normal, haha.
-
This may seem like a strange request, but would it be possible to create a weapons loadout that has an empty Hellfire rack and the 2.75 FFAR pod? In some aerobatics servers, weapons aren't allowed... which is perfectly fine... but the Apache looks boring without the racks/tubes, and I've seen many Apaches flying with them real world, especially at airshows etc.

I've been so busy the last few months, and with the delay of the Apache, I only just now saw your response. I'll definitely be one to download your files should you share them. I'm probably only going to print a few and make a desktop version out of them with the MPDs and TEDAC. Maybe also the KU, but the rest will be done another way. My kids have taken the rest of my man cave area. So, as soon as you share the links, I'll be downloading and printing!

This mod looks fantastic, and although the DCS Apache is coming out soon (January), I installed this. Granted, I did it the manual way of copying the files to my main DCS, which turns the Ka-50 into the Apache (no issue for me). Where I am having an issue is with the weapons. I changed the ka-50.lua (MissionEditor/UnitPayloads/) to include the FFARs and Hellfires, however, they are sitting on the wings and not the pylons (even normal Ka-50 weapons before adjusting the file were in this position). Adjusting the Pylon section at Scripts/Database/Helicopters/Ka-50.lua doesn't move the pods or missiles location. Is there anything I can do to lower them and get them to line up properly with the pylons like in the pictures, or did I miss something with the install?

How's the cockpit build going? I've been playing with the TEDAC to see if I can come up with a module that's completely 3D printed, even the handles, from Fusion. That'll be a while. Are you planning on sharing any of your files?
-
Hey Hannibal, I just started designing the MFD for the TEDAC, and found this topic. Would you be willing to share your designs when finished? I'm going to be going the basic way with wiring all the buttons to a button controller that I have that controls up to 256 buttons (MFD and handles hopefully). Also, which monitor did you go with? I didn't see you post it.

What I mean is, the first file is the one with all the dds files, and the description.lua. The rest only have 5 dds files. nothing else. I need to copy from the main #200 folder into the rest, correct?
-
Actually, I could use your help. Am I correct that I have to copy the files from 200 into all the other modex folders (201-212) except those already in the folders? That puts the zip file with the 12 jets up around 1.6Gb...

Thanks Strut, I got it to work just fine with the plug-in. Thanks!
-
Thanks! I'll let you know if I have any further issues.

Greetings Strut, I'm trying to install these skins, then update them with names and such, but I can't access the dds files like usual. Is there something I'm missing? Normally I pull the DDS into DXTBMP, send to photoshop, edit, reload in DXTBMP and save it... but the program can't read the DDS files. Can you help? I'd really like to use these now and then with my squadron. Regards, "Splash" VNAO CVW-7 VF-84 CO

I haven't gone through the 200 pages, but is there a way that I can add the tumble easily to a mod? I'm working on a couple of flyable projects... 1 works if I first load into a coremod that has the rumble, the others don't work at all. -
Gotta smile at the "I have a problem. You need to fix it. No I won't show proof. What, my word isn't good enough? Just Fix It" attitude.
