  1. My words... I love flying, no matter which aircraft, rotary or fixed wing. The most important thing that matters for me is as acurate FM as it can be. The second are accurate avionics and other systems. Shootings tin cans on the ground or other birds sharing the air is only a nice addition :smilewink:
  2. Omg, he's such a tease  How can I go to sleep now? O c'mon guys, just one little DCS:Hornet cockpit screenshot, Matt, guys, pleeeeease :helpsmilie:
  3. Why all the hate against civil aircraft? Tell me - is the slick variant of Huey still military aircraft? Of course, this is not FSX and thanx god for that! FSX can't compete in FM with DCS
  4. Is there any way to disable stall buffeting and vibration during gun fire on FFB joy? I set "vibrations" in FFB Tune to zero, but in game they are still there...
  5. Christmas are near :D
  6. :gun_rifle:
  7. I appreciated that too, but I will be happier to see this from some official chanel...
  8. Wtf...? Who is this Petia Kholomin (uploader)?
  9. VFR airport charts are included in your kneeboard and in DCS World/Docs. Runway directions are there with other info. The charts are also sufficient for instrument approach, but not for true IFR.
  10. Why? 3D model is all you need for those static screenshots...
  11. Sweet! Should it be RRG's work?
  12. It is posible, but only by a language pack, which should be released by ED or someone else as a mod. It would be nice to have those language packs released officially for all DCS:W language versions.
  13. No, it should negate the influence of non-perfect centering of older or not so precise sticks.
  14. AFAIK there is a line burried somewhere in lua that can set this time delay... Try to search somewhere around the forum :smilewink: You're right, there should be an option to set this time in the in-game settings
  15. I can't believe, that I didn't find this great classic movie - Midway! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074899/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 ...and also A Bridge Too Far - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075784/?ref_=sr_1
  16. Is this some kind of trolling?
  17. Your lines drawn in your screenshot are wrong. Default pilot's view (red line) is centered on those Alt and VVI instruments on the right side of the front panel and it should cross the center purple line somewhere far away in front of you, near "infinity".
  18. That idea with open beta release of the new versions of DCS SW is great for me, but imho it is the blade of two edges: First edge will add new testers exponentially, but... Second edge will flood the forum with false alarm reports and it will make (also imho) testers work harder to pick up and clarify user-found bugs, than if they found that bugs by theirselves, because the native(current) testers know what are they looking for. OR - if this open-beta-testing should be worth it, it should come to public with proper full documentation of the release and full changelog and some clues to what we should test and where we should look for bugs and so... I'm affraid, that it should become a total mess.... Sorry for my bad english, I hope you get my thoughts :D
  19. Somewhere was stated, that only the modules from ED partners (like BST) will be integrated and kept autoupdated. All 3rd party modules won't have this support, keeping the modules up-to-date will be 3rd party devs' job made by new versions or updates distributed separately by their private chanels.
  20. Not necessarily, more I wanted to find out (or make an "educated" guess) the approximate number of DCS World pilots. Just for my curiosity :)
  21. No problem here
  22. These should come hand in hand
  23. Dunno who cares. Is this a Chit-Chat section or not? :D But I know WHY. This number of potential customers should be imortant for those who want to start the development of their own DCS:W modules...
  24. Don't Be Hasty, Master Silver_Dragon :D
  25. ED are keeping the sale numbers in secrecy for obvious reasons, but I made a simply thought today (don't be affraid, my brain wasn't hurt :D): This forum has 31050 user accounts in this time. I think, that some 50% (Mustang, Huey) - 75% (A-10C) of this number could be total number of buyers of each module. And if you multiply it by the price of the module, you will get total gross income from one released module. ...or do you have another opinion? :smilewink: Edit: Tak in mind, that not every customer is registered on this forum, so these numbers are not as optimistic as it may seem. Maybe the real numbers are even higher.
