  1. DCS: UH-1H Huey • Tuned the "mast bumping" effect. The rotor is now very hard to break off while on the ground. • The UH-1H manuals and readme have been updated. • Fixed and updated UH-1H training files (now download from the Training menu). • Sound samples path has been updated. • The ADF will now work correctly with near NDB at Krymsk. The VRS and cockpit shake are not mentioned. Does that mean that the tuning is not finished? Edit> ...or are they only the changes related to the DCS World and ED part? ...or is it simply incomplete due to the Wags' lack of info? I'm asking because I had a feeling that the 1.2.5 will be the DCS:UH-1H final release version.
  2. Thanx for the info. But I have one little notice. The electric lines are looking still too thick. See discussion here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89826 I have an idea - imho they shouldn't be black or grey or any other static color, they should be a few shades darker than the approximated color of the actual background.
  3. I can recomend you any FFB joy, I own a Logitech G940 which I'm pretty happy with. If you fly with Pony, you can feel the increasing forces in controls with increasing velocity and the stall buffeting. It is also great for flying helos because of the trimming like in RL.
  4. Hi Bill, can you describe your problem more? I don't thing I can understand what do you mean... This behavior you are talking about seems to me pretty normal.
  5. sipmple backslash "\" - pops up comms menu, AFAIK works only when youre on the ground. RAlt + \ - simulates the pressing of the Push-to-talk button of your radio, you can talk to everybody on this frequency. It should work anytime. Edit: sniped :D
  6. Are you using the right key command? Try Push-to-talk: "RAlt+\" (Command is called SPU-9 PTT for the Ka-50)
  7. I forgot to add the link  http://www.amvi.it/download/dcs/cockpit/files.html
  8. Have anyone of you guys heard about "Project Galba"? IMHO this has something to do with it :smilewink:
  9. Thank you sir, very interesting!
  10. This seems to be working
  11. I have a technical (little bit OT) question. What are those "paddles" on the rotorhead? The only thing that came on my mind is that they are some (adjustable?) counterweight to the rotor blades reducing(or absorbing) vibrations...
  12. The solution can be easier than it looks
  13. Oh c'mon, stop teasing us... Better show us some screens, or even better, some vids! Prty pls :worthy:
  14. As we can se, you are preparing many skins for many countries. Will be those countries added to DCS World as sides of the conflict?
  15. Gentlemen, for your amusement you can take a look at some photos of the czech modernised Mi-171Sh  Link to Gallery (don't worry, the link is safe :))
  16. Thanks, I didn't know this system
  17. Do you have some aditional info about that?
  18. Modern helicopters have this IR jammer gadget on the upper side of the airframe, near rotor mast. Apache Hind
  19. I can see some misclick there in the results  I hope that the question is WHEN, not IF... There was some statement somewhere, that it will be released with (included in) the legendary EDGE :smilewink:
  20. Great article "Guide to Surving MANPADS, AAA, and other nasties" on SimHQforum: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2915432/Guide_to_Surving_MANPADS_AAA_a#Post2915432 and another very useful reading: http://realandsimulatedwars.yolasite.com/dcs-black-shark-tactics-primer.php
  21. If you're sitting in Akula, you can't fight against whole army like Terminator :robot: , you should sneak to your target more like Vasily Zaytsev :gun_sniper: ...but as you know, there is no 100% effective tactic against manpads threat. Maybe all-time-360deg situation awareness and loads of flares.
  22. Dunno what "MIP mapping" means exactly, but I'm going to try it immediately. Thanks in advance
  23. Dunno, where your problem can be. You can check my G940 axis settings.
  24. Don't give up, mate!
  25. It's planned for the final release version.
