  1. What about "Craziest place you ever crashed" thread? :D
  2. ...tin foil hat anyone? :D

    ETL Vibration

Amount of shaking when going out from ETL depends on your collective setting. Try to use HIGE collective setting, you'll find shaking not so violent. Also mind that your tail rotor is going out of ETL too and it needs corrective input. Note> I have zero IRL helo experience, so I can't compare. Just adding my 0.02$ :smilewink:
  4. I made it on time, 12:11pm and BlackHawk is leaving now with our injured soldier. Be sure, that I flew it like I stole it :D
  5. ...with full scale cockpit for both crew members, with monitors, working instruments and switches and with colimated screen :smilewink: Here is one - made by CSTS Dinamika, cost approx hundreds of thousands $$$ :D
  6. There is one http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/documentation/tc-1/?sphrase_id=345043, maybe little less detail, but more synoptical ...but it doesn't represent the whole DCS World, eastern part of Georgia is missing here, because it was made earlier in good old Lomac times :smilewink:
  7. Like I said - as a cheat. After all those years flying over this region back and forth, it's almost imposible to find yourself lost :D
  8. ...or you can peek to your kneepad map during flight. As a cheat, you can view your current position there, if you press a shortcut. Sorry, I don't remember the keys.
  9. Huey is mostly navigated by IFR rules. Stands for I Follow Roads :D You are fluently comparing map with landmarks you can see. In Czech there is a term "Comparative navigation". Dunno how it is called in En.
  10. Hey mate, is there some chance to see you sleeping or going to work? :D:megalol:
  11. Both windscreens (pilot and copilot) have only one texture, which is mirrored. So if you put something to be seen on pilots side, on the copilot's side it will be there too and laterally reversed. Pitty, it would be nice to have some hand-written notes there :smilewink:
  12. Hi guys, will you add Shahdoh's Tbilisi course to your map? I was on your server yesterday and it wasn't there, only Batumi oil rigs.
  13. There's no way to make a 1.5x10^6 line code free of bugs :D
  14. It seems, that the crosswind is pretty strong, you can see it on the smoke above those chimneys. That is quite tricky for take off and landing. ...and yes, you should be as gentle as you can and treat her like a baby. Even when you're not enough familiar to each other. She's not some lazy Cessna for civilian tourists, she's real military grade thoroughbred :D Edit: I took control of your track and I found that crosswind really tricky. Those aren't the best conditions on your first date with her :joystick: You should familiarise with her on some sunny and calm day :smilewink:
  15. What means "coding" in English? Catching cod? Yea, that's easy! :D
  16. IMHO your crash was causeb by 2 factors 1 - you pulled her too hard after the lift off, which caused stall 2 - the crosswind from the left. When your left wing went down, the crosswind blew it down even more
  17. Not only them, me too!
  18. Some vids of Huey rocket fire, IMHO no significant recoil can't be seen.
  19. Seems to me, that guys from BST added rocket recoil for some purpose, it's even mentioned in training mission.
  20. IMHO the reason is apparent - outdated engine...
  21. Oops, sorry, I didn't know that... :(
  22. I made a mark on my throttle :D Although the collective setting may differ for different weight of your machine, you will get a reference point. BS has special instrument for blade angle, that would be great here too...
  23. The cake is a lie :megalol: I didn't heard that for a looooong time...
  24. ...see post #5 and #6
  25. If it fails to release the rocket and if the whole propellant burnt inside the rack, then the nose should be forced to go UP, not down!
