  1. Does this apply to Multiplayer servers as well? so if I go to a multiplayer server I won't have to align as long as I have option checked? or is the host server rules enforced?
  2. I understand the need for realism for the simulation however from the game playability standpoint to have to wait 11 minutes between start of repair and realignment is a bit much in my opinion. I mean the repair is sped up I would think that realignment could be sped up as well. Nothing in these sims 100% real anyway. I just think finding a balance between realism and playability is the key. I really like this sim though you all are doing a very good job.
  3. What if you were to connect Ground Power? and Keep the INS up and running? Much like you do with the APU keeping the CDU warm on the A-10C?
  4. The manual Says this: "INS Alignment The INS requires alignment any time the aircraft has been dark and cold for a long period of time. In the case of DCS, an alignment is required every time you: Start from the ramp Have requested aircraft repairs from the ground crew Has requested a rearm/refuel from the ground crew." My question is wouldn't you be able to add ground power prior to shut down for repair to maintain your INS while repairs were underway? With rearm or refuel you don't need to shut down therefore your engine should maintain the INS would it not?
  5. The typo is on Page 90 of the flight manual under Standard Alignment step 4 4. Set the PSM Mode knob in ALM when you are satisfied that all aircraft position is correct. Once the PSM is in ALM, the following will happen: a. The ALN yellow light will blink. b. The VAL button will light up.
  6. I had to some coding to a lua file its outlined in this post. After I did that it was good. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2821188&postcount=39
  7. This will make CCRP much better.
  8. Make sure to keep your wings level... To do this I always drop two bombs at a time to make sure to keep the aircraft balanced. I normally like to drop CCRP (Mk-82). Starting at Angels 15 I roll in lock the target and then about 6-7 thousand begin a slight pull out, around 10 degrees off my initial dive, and wait for the release queue (you must keep the wings level from this point to release). As soon as Bombs are off I aggressively pull out of the dive. Depending on the speed at release you may have to practice ... I normally place the lock slightly in front of the target because I have a tendency to hit long with this method.
  9. I am still having issues but I did get the black screen issue related to the Options menu. I was able to disable some items... However if you pause track IR before opening the game once you get in to your aircraft and unpause the x axis motion seems to be fixed. Thank you to everyone for all your help on this matter.
  10. I am having the same issue with the screen going black and won't keep my changes
  11. Neither of my pilots have the ability to move side to side. Is this just me? or is anyone else having this issue. This was not an issue in 1.5.3. Any help is appreciated.
  12. I can't see the picture... but I am certain that a track file of the incident might help diagnose the problem. I have swore up and down that I was smooth on the controls but in reality I was over torqueing the motor. I hear a pop and then engine failure... Usually it happens to me when I transition to a hover or out of a hover. And many times its because I have made adjustments in auto hover that are not sensed until the auto hover is disengaged. Check your replay to see if you overtorqued.
  13. Bombing accuracy will be greatly increased with the further development of the release queue to be automated. So the pilot can just hold down the button and the computer would release the ordinance.
  14. I mapped Slew commands in the key bindings to a four way hat. So if in an Auto Hover you can you use the Main Stick but if you do need to be in forward flight you can use the hat to control the camera. Its not as precise as the stick in an auto hover but it is fairly effective.
  15. You have to select a waypoint n (number 1-9) click the ENT button then you must click the EFF button to remove the blinking (defaulted)N coordinate... then it will allow you to enter the new coordinate. After doing this you hit the down arrow key and do the same for the E Coordinate. Hope this helps.
  16. I am really enjoying what you have done with the Mirage. It is really coming around. The Radar is becoming more complex and I am finding it much more challenging (in a good way) to find targets. There are more aspects to come that will also greatly improve this SIM I can hardly wait to learn the INS NAV System. :pilotfly:
  17. I have not tried this yet in the updated 2.02. However I do know that performance of all aircraft in Nevada are degraded a slight bit because of altitude. The altitude is 2000 or more feet higher than in the Caucus maps.
  18. I have found that Dive bombing with CCRP actually is very accurate.:pilotfly:
  19. R3Rs are all aspect. they are not all that maneuverable so many times you can out turn them if you seen when they are launched. As a target however if you stay straight and level they are usually a high percentage kill.
  20. I don't get a signal when I tune to VORs in 2.0.
  21. I just want to drop a bomb on something consistently. love the Mig and I like the site when it there is no wind.
  22. I meant to add when there is no wind in the mission, the Pipper works as its suppose to and very accurate.:pilotfly:
  23. I have issues with wind... if there is any wind the pipper kicks off to the left of the site when Bombing. You would think that it would be correcting for the wind but it doesn't matter the direction you approach its always to the left of center... the bombs generally hit where you would imagine the pipper should be. Not where the pipper displays on the site.

    1.5 Rearming

I think this is a bug... However I found that if you flip on the emergency restart during rearm when it finishes it will flip the switch to the off position and the switch is useable afterwards:thumbup: I found it to be a convenient work around.
