  1. Here is the chart for the F-86F. DCS Profile F-86F Sabre BLANK.zip
  2. Version 1.41 verfügbar. Der Link zum Download befindet sich im ersten Post dieses Threads.
  3. Small update to version 1.41 is downloadable. Visit first post of this thread for details.
  4. With the release of future modules this could be more confusing than it is today... Suggstions for a meaningful graphical representation?
  5. Hi Einstein. Very nice to see that so much more is possible with this map. Thanks for your improvement suggestions. That is very little effort and nevertheless very helpful. Consider it done. I will think about it. I'd much rather start this task today than tomorrow, believe me dude.
  6. An updated v1.2 is downloadable since october 2014: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/585582/ A rework of the entire frequencies will be made as soon as DCSW 2.0 comes public.
  7. Thanks for this important notice. Will be fixed in the next update.
  8. I´ve reworked the Beacon Map. Version 1.4 is downloadable as usual at the first post of this thread. Big thanks for all the improvement suggestions. Special thanks to Andy G.
  9. I can not believe that the altitude of a particular landing pattern of an airfield is calculated as accurately as you do it. You know that the runway is 10 feet ASL - wich surely can be neglected! You also know that military turbojet aircraft SOMETIMES EXTENT UP TO 2,500 feet. This is a value that is not fixed and can be changed. So in my opinion it is on you to define the flight altitude. Everything between 1,000 and 2,500 feet seems to be realistic. And who knows what specific guidelines the russians have for runway patterns? Maybe they deviate significantly from your research in western military guidelines.
  10. In DCS 2.0 the devs already have fixed it to 117.1 MHz.
  11. UHF homing with the AN/ARC-51BX radio in the huey is not functional yet. You have to use the AN/ARN-83 radio for this task.
  12. You are absolutly right, JohnnyQ. I´ll fix this in the next update. The first frequency shown in the ME refers to the standard ATC communication-frequencies of modern aircraft, like the A-10C. The second one is for the WW2-fighters and the third refers to the corean-era-fighters. As said before, in many planes these frequencies are preset in channels, which can be manually customized BEFORE flight in the ME. In the next revision of the Beacon Map I´ll implement both the standard ATC frequencies and the relevant channel.
  13. The VORs are physical objects in the sim. The screenshot shows the VOR at Tbilisi-Lochini. There are five VOR-stations in the current DCS World. Believe me, they do exist but do not work properly at present. For me, ADF-navigation works fine with the huey. Just watch this tutorial and you will use ADF as your primary navigation method: Remember that you fly in an eastern environment. Not everything is compatible with western technology.
  14. Hi JohnnyQ. The VOR frequencies are directly from the sim. Here you can take a look at an overview: In principle the VORs work fine, at present there is a "funny" bug, though. Take a look at this thread:
  15. Hi Blech, danke für den Hinweis. Ich habe den Fehler korrigiert. Ich hänge die überarbeitete Version 1.51 hier an. Ich habe zudem mit der Implementierung der Notfallprozeduren begonnen (WIP). МиГ-21 Checklisten.pdf
  16. BFT03: The (real life) military traffic-pattern-altitude is in my opinion 1000 - 1200 feet AGL. In BFT03 it is 2500 feet ASL. With this altitude in base-leg / final approach it is nearly impossible to land smoothly since the distance to the threshold is not very far.
  17. I´ve tried the mission several times. Now I´ve initiated the trigger, and yes, now I know that it is a "simulated" engine failure. Obviously it is important to fly a tight curve from heading 300 to 060, otherwise it is possible that somebody misses the trigger.
  18. I think there is another issue in the same mission: The trigger that should start the engine failure seems to be inoperative. I flew with heading 060 nearly out of the scenario-map and nothing happens.
  19. Reporting "Very-close-formation-bug" after starting BFT02 - Takeoff & EFATO.
  20. Awesome work and unbelievable speed of support! Rep inbound.
  21. Unfortunately, the adaption of the file path does not have any effect concerning the open beta.
  22. How can one implement the kneeboard builder in the DCS open beta?
  23.
  24. You wrote that you last downloaded the manual in November 2014. If you want to know if it was updated since then, just take a look at your "DCS World\Doc" Folder. There you can find the CURRENT version of the "DCS User Manual EN.pdf". Since every new update of a manual will also installed automatically via autoupdater, you will find the most current version at your hard disc. This file was last edited 04.04.2014, 16:33, so one can say that your file is absolutly current.
  25. With every new update of a manual, it is also installed automatically via autoupdater.
