I was wondering if I could delete a mission played in a campaign? I started the third mission in the Mozdok campaign (Su27) and got called away before I could even take off. When I started again it showed that I had flown three missions and reduced my rating. I would like to delete that third start and start that mission again with my 100% rating. I did a search and found a thread about deleting an entire mission. I posted this question there before I noticed it was an Open Beta forum.:doh: Thanks MJ

I'm just trying to get familiar with the kneeboard. I've never used it and thought I should learn how it works. I only play single player and would just like to see my position on it instead of having to go to the F10 map. In controls it has the on/off choices and different pages that change the view area, and 10 that are jump to shortcut#. what are these shortcuts and how do I use the kneeboard? The manual has nothing about this. Thanks, MJ

I remember back in ver. 1.2 I had changed a language file from Russian to English to receive radio messages in English when flying Russian planes. I did a search, but there is no longer a 1.2 forum. Can someone jog my memory on where and how to do this. I just did a fresh install onto a new SSD, and lost that detail. Thanks MJ

From the Huey quick start: An activation will be required if the hardware/software changes exceed 12 points as rated below: CPU ID: 13 Windows PID: 3 Computer Name: 3 Hard drive volume serial number: 3 MAC address: 6 RAM amount: 6 If you just uninstall the game and then reinstall it again on the same PC without reinstalling your operating system or changing hardware, you do not need to use a deactivation.

I figured that, but I get a "Warning; Cannot open file for reading delimeter- begin.wav" message when starting a mission for the Su25T. I had posted here a couple days ago, but it got moved to the mission and campaign forum. No responses, but I noticed this there: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60164 This was not a user created mission, it came with the free Su25T and I had no such warning in 1.2... only after updating to 1.5 Thank you. I just tried to fly the Su-25T mission "Close Down Kopitnari" with my freshly updated 1.5... install and get a "Warning: Cannot open file for reading delimeter-begin.wav" message. I can click OK a couple of times, and the mission loads. What does this warning mean. MJ

Back to original post. Will 1.2... install be upgraded automatically? or do we need to download 1.5? MJ

On a related note, I am getting ready to replace one of my drives with a SSD. As of now, Windows is on "C"" and games and DCS on "D". I think putting games and DCS on the new SSD will be an advantage for DCS. I'm really not concerned how long Win takes to start. Is my thinking correct or am I not thinking right? MJ

I am trying to free up some hard drive space and am wondering if I can uninstall single modules that i'm not flying at the moment? I did a search but nothing shown for single modules. I am still on version 1.2.... Thank you MJ

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll try a button on my joystick for center to start and am wondering when a guy would use pause. I've read you need to pause before setting view in pit? I'm brand new to headtracking and haven't done much looking around yet.(pun definitely intended):D MJ

I'm just getting into head tracking with the Trackhat Clip and need your input what keys you use for pause and center. I have several modules and have yet to find 2 keys that are not used by one or the other for something. What keys do you use for headtracking center and pause? MJ

I'm happy to report that swapping axis in FFB menu worked! This ride is nice! Once I got over my ham fisted death grip, I had no problems. Thanks everyone for your input. 2 more questions: What does this swapping axis do to(for) the Huey? I haven't tried it yet. Is there a thread started on FFB sticks and any settings/ tricks used for them? Thanks again! MJ
