  1. You have made great progress. It looks a good seating position. Keep up the good work.
  2. Thanks. I will
  3. So I would be interested to know if anybodyelse is using X-Keys.
  4. Instead of the using odd keyboard input or mouse click in my BlackShark pit I decided to dig out my old X-Keys keyboard and programme it. I know it is not very realisitic compared to the authentic pit builders standards but it does give me greater immersion and efficiency when flying. For those who have never heard of the X-Keys board. It is a simple programmable keyboard. Mine is very old so needs a PS2 type keyboard connected to it. Each key can be programmed with single or multiple key strokes. So refuel to 100% can be one simple tap. Happy flying
  5. That looks so professional. Keep up the good work
  6. Looks good to me. Gives other ideas.
  7. Great Job Having had ED products since SU 27 I have to agree with all the comments above. What a great simulation it has developed into. The very supportive, if at times very critical, user base has also played it's part. But let's take nothing away from the fantastic work of the programmers. It is easy to say this is not right......it must be a very difficult job to sort it out. Very well done ED
  8. After being in each other’s heads every Tuesday night, via Teamspeak, for many years the 9th -=Shrek=- Squadron finally got a chance to use their mark one eyeballs on each other this July. Tin Tin aka DarkEagle announced his plan to visit England and Squadron founder Ogreman offered him part of his swamp to squat in for a few days. This triggered an open invite from the Ogre himself to all squad members to come and admire his pit and meet Tin Tin. Wednesday saw small group set off to Duxford. Dragon drove Mrs Dragon, Tin Tin, Big Newy and Ogreman. The IWM was fantastic but we were also treated to a flying display of the rare two-seat Mk IXT Spitfire. Tin Tin knew every plane in fact if you show him a rivet he will tell you the name of the plane. Thursday saw the great gathering. Other founder members Balrog and Dragon, accompanied by Mrs Dragon, gathered for a BBQ at Swamp Central. Big Newy and Trubshaw came along and were allowed to sit in Ogreman’s awesome pit! Apologies were accepted from Catz, Grunt and Hawk. We welcomed BeeKay and Nebs who were keen to become fellow swampies. Big Newy cooked meat while the Ogre himself prepared fresh vittles from Sainbury’s to put on a spread fit for the occasion. Beer, wine and vodka flowed, although the stream of vodka only seemed to flow one way.....towards Big Newy’s glass! Balrog kept us all entertained with tails of his adventures. Many things were discussed from the real world to DCS world and back again. Big Newy was nominated to be in charge of diplomatic relations. Serious matters of tail numbers, were finally put to bed, along with Big Newy. However, most importantly BeeKay and Nebs were officially welcomed into the 9th -=Shrek=- Squadron and allocated squadron numbers. When the smoke from the BBQ and mist from the swamp and Big Newy’s head had cleared in the morning one thing was clear we were all serious about the flight sim environment, supportive and helpful with a big slab of humour. This will be the first of many 9th -=Shrek=- Squadron meetings and I look forward to them all. If you want to know more about us then look us up at http://www.shreksquadron.org and leave a message in our guest book. Cheers TrubshawRN
  9. Not easily. They are mainly coded to work only with MSFS but the multifunction switch may be easier. I have Autopilot, Radio and Switch but dont use them in DSC. Which ones are in your lap?
  10. Just got it! TrubshawRN reporting in.... Serial 13725 Location Nottingham 9th -=Shrek=- Squadron
  11. Thanks Succellus you have given me some ideas. Great work.
  12. Thanks for the links PeterP. I guess that is what I could aim for.
  13. Thanks for sharing your ideas guys. ..and Bignewy thanks for the photo look forward to flying with your when my PC has been upgraded. Any chance of a picture of how your monitors look Supersheep, Hawk & Succellus? Having the top monitor slightly behind gives the impression of an "out of the cockpit view" also the bottom monitor at an angle of 10 -15 degrees adds to the immersion. Cheers
  14. Couldn't get on with two monitors in landscape because the bezel came right down the screen. This makes the top of the bottom monitor look like the top of the cockpit dash....very realistic. Hope you agree! Cheers
